Top 10 Toxic Foods and Top 10 Healing Foods | Dr. Josh Axe

What is the healing foods diet? Learn more: bit.ly/2t699fh
Most people I meet think they’re pretty healthy, but when I probe a little deeper into their diets, I quickly find out they are eating a lot of “health” foods you should never eat. I can’t blame them. With all of the confusion surrounding labelling and advertising, buzzwords like “sugar-free,” “all-natural” and even “organic” can be really confusing. I want to clear the air.
In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, I discuss the top 10 toxic foods you should remove from your diet and the top 10 healing foods to add to help restore and fuel your body.

Knowing where your food is coming from is the single most important thing my parents taught me. Coming from a village on the Nile in upper Egypt I grew up knowing where my milk, eggs, veggies, bread, and meat come from. If you don’t know the source of your food don’t eat it. If it’s canned and imported from a far away country don’t eat it. Just try to find food that is as natural as possible. Stay healthy and much love 💗

Correction: "conventional and processed meats" are carcinogenic. Grass-fed farm raised meats are very healthy. But if you really want to be healthy, eat organ meats. Sounds disgusting but our ancestors from centuries ago, and even recently from less than a hundred years ago ate them more than the other meats and that is where most of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients are.

Youve become 1 of the top go-to drs globally, as I personally heal my body from being fully bedridden for several years. Your tutorials have been very impactful for me in this time. Question: Which Bone Broth supplement within your line, would you suggest for someone who is working hard to recover from a significant chronic illness? I notice you have a vast selection/flavors but wasnt sure if 1 would be better than another for me personally? I deal with chronic inflammation, neuropathy and subsequently, muscle atrophy. As well as leaky gut/toxity..... something Ive spent a year everyday repairing. Thanks so much for your help/advice!

Great reason to have filtered water getting rid of flouride, greenhouse for organic veggies and a chicken coup for organic eggs. Great video thank you. PS not only tap water 95% of bottled water has more flouride than tap water.

I agree with the dairy - milk. Man do I LOVE the taste of milk. BUT. Every time I drink it, my stomach hurts, I'm gassy, I do get a LOT of flehm almost like I would have a cold or something... The side effects of regular milk just aren't worth it :(

Yeaa I learned about milk 🥛 in Shiatsu School and it was so helpful cutting it out. I started seeing many health issues were from cold 🥶 drinks, milk, and horrible Cold sugary ICE 🧊 coffee drinks. In TCM can cause weak blood 🩸 flow... worry, if regularly taken more bruises in the person, many more.

This is a super great video very informative thank you for sharing. I cut out all red meat all Dairy all sugar any prepared foods and breads, I eat only fresh organic vegetables white organic meat such as turkey chicken Cod salmon or Whiting, and also occasionally organic fruit. I'm trying to cut out soda (only drinking probably to the week at this point) and I drink nothing but herbal teas and water and I cannot even explain in any volume how much better I feel!

I am massively ketogenic for 2 years. Fantastic video. Although like corn, wheat I would never eat in any amount. The fact that people here gave you thumbs down is a testament of the extreme lack of education. People today barely eat food. They consume food like products. I am with out a doubt extremely supportive of this video. I follow Dr.Eric Berg & Dr. Jason Fung. I also coach people with the ketogenic lifestyle. At the end of the day the line for prescriptions and surgeries is always going to be ridiculously longer that a healthy lifestyle change. Kudos to your video. Keep them coming.

Awesome video! I'm working on this and have eliminated the toxic foods and am replacing them with the second list. More expensive, yes, unfortunately, but I think we need to take the attitude that our health is worth it. It's the best form of health insurance which is far more expensive as well as the hospitalizations and other toxic prescription drugs... sickness is big business as we all know! I wish there were more organic produce in our supermarkets though...most of it is GMO foods. I boycott all Soy and corn products unless it's organic corn because Monsanto owns 90 percent of the corn and soy industries! So why do so many people walk into supermarkets and go right for the regular corn on the cob as well as all that toxic Coca Cola ...the leading purveyor of poison! They're uninformed/misinformed and don't think! Thanks for all this great info...much appreciated!
