Just started brothing again after few years.I also cook in the slow cooker over two days about the same hours. I do turn it off the evening before and get it going in the morning again for a few hours

Hi doctor, I'm currently enjoying your book The Collagen Diet. It gets lots of attention when I'm in public reading. Great conversation starter! Im using the Multi Collagen in smoothies etc and want to include the bone broth. I bought the chocolate bone broth and couldn't get with the smell or taste. Needless to say im sure its expired now. For the palate sensitive like myself, it would be great if you can make a fresh liquid bone broth with delicious flavors of veggies and herbs stored in a glass mason jar or carton that can be heated and sipped. There are some out there but your brand so many of us trust instead. Hopefully this is something you are quietly working on.😊

I can’t make any promises to you, but I can tell you what is happening to me. My hair was very thin and I was having difficulty covering it up. After 3 containers of Multi Collagen I am seeing new growth around my hair line in the front. The last time I got a hair cut (before Covid-19 stay at home requirement) my beautician saw saw new growth in the back of my head. No, my hair has not completely restored, but I am happy to see what I have. Will continue to take Multi Collagen Protein as part of my daily diet.

Personally being 55 years of age, I rotate bovine and fish collagen daily for the maintenance of tighter skin and to support joint health. Just because you don't have sore, aching joints now doesn't mean you can't be pro-active! ...I took my brick house apart one piece at a time and moved it to Arizona...when the workmen put it back together it became a bridge...even though there’s no water on my property...that’s the same thinking that when you take any protein, including any type of collagen, that the body will put it back exactly together as it was before digestion...however, certainly the building blocks will be beneficial , health wise...but don’t expect the body is going to listen to fine manufacturers of Collagen Protein and rebuild you from scratch...

I've heard the LINX system will stop the acid reflux but until then, I try to avoid the bad foods, eat the good ones, and either lift the head of my adjustable bed to give my esophagus a break, or flat to give my lower back a break. Thank you for this easy explanation. I wish I had seen this before shopping and getting overwhelmed by choices 😵! I personally went w/ the bone broth powder. I add mine to some room-temp water, then mix that into scalding water with good beef boullion powder added; I like Herb&Ox actually. Your idea of taking *both* powders every day seems sensible. Choosing a protein powder is something of an investment,so there's some pressure to choose the proper one!😁 But if you look at it like this: you are purchasing (regardless of brand-name) $25-$60 of nutritionally-dense GROCERIES...then you don't feel so guilty for spending the money. Especially if you're me and have a tight budget!

They just sell you on the idea of buying their collagen, not really helping you out. You could of asked "Which collagen boosts thyroid operation?" Or "Does collagen affect your thyroid?" and regardless the question, he won't tell you, partially because he's a Chiropractor, not an MD and because doesn't know.

Hey there! It's always best to consult with your personal healthcare provider to determine what's best for you before starting a new supplement routine. Bone Broth Protein contains collagen, just fewer types than our Multi Collagen Protein, so it's always great to start with that product if you're new to Ancient Nutrition!

Would love to see a similar video comparing the differences between refined and unrefined coconut oil. I heard that refined has the same nutrients as unrefined, but I heard that is has the bad saturated fat in it. I can't stand the taste of unrefined coconut oil so I have been using refined for a long time and when I read that about the saturated fat, I got concerned. Is this the case? I'm assuming when everyone tells you to consume coconut oil they are referring to the unrefined kind? However, is the refined bad for you? Does it have less nutrients?

Hello there, would someone on the Ancient Nutrition/Dr. Axe team be able to shed some light on the following question: Will consuming these supplements too early in life (I’m 28 years old) have adverse effects, such as causing the body to become ‘lazy’ to produce its own collagen? How does that work when we take these supplements? I’ve heard this in the past, but thought I’d ask the experts! Just wondering if I should wait until I’m a bit older to start collagen supplements. Thank you for any help you’re able to offer! I appreciate the whole team - both on camera and behind the scenes - truly thankful for the info you provide! God bless you all.

Hey there! Thank you so much for reaching out. There’s a reason that collagen supplementation, in addition to an overall healthy diet and lifestyle, is being dubbed as the new essential in the wellness and beauty community. Many people’s collagen is breaking down at an accelerated rate, and it’s not being replaced in the standard modern diet. As we age, our bodies’ natural production of collagen slows dramatically. Over 25? Your body is probably not replenishing collagen as quickly as you are losing it, since replenishment slows with age. As your body slows its collagen production, you’ll typically end up with skin that “looks older” with less skin elasticity, vibrancy and hydration, creaky joints, or even gut disturbances. It could even mean thinner hair and brittle nails. We recommend taking the supplement facts to your local healthcare practitioner to make sure that this product is right for you before you make any changes to your diet. Sometimes its not the collagen that is bloating but the xantham gum, guar gum, or other additives. I cant use his because of this. My gut is trying to heal from sibo and I’m not suppose to have any of these gums. I also cant use coconut milk because of these additives. I found a bone broth protein without it finally. But would get this dr axe one if i could. These gum additives are popping up everywhere or maltodextrin ugh.
