Bone Broth and Turmeric: A Nutritional Powerhouse for Your Gut, Skin and Joints | Ancient Nutrition

Bone broth and turmeric are two time-honored ingredients that have been used for literally thousands of years in Ayurvedic and Chinese herbalism, as well as other ancient health systems.
What makes bone broth, especially bone broth (BB) infused with antioxidant-powered turmeric, a nutritional powerhouse?
BB and turmeric can help to support a healthy gut, skin health, healthy joints and much more. Turmeric lends a savory, warm flavor to Bone Broth Protein powder, plus it packs its own impressive benefits like healthy cognitive function and joint support.

Im from Scotland. My family has been drinking broth for generations. Everyone in the comment section wants bone broth to be EXCLUSIVELY from their culture 😂 All it is is boiling bones. This isent some revolutionary discovery. Its been done by almost all cultures on earth.

Here in New Zealand the native culture Māori has a dish called boil up. It’s a big pot of pork bones or whatever bones really, watercress, potatoes and other things. I’ll eat it but was never a favourite but I’ve just realised it’s essentially bone broth and I’ll be making it home now lol.

Dear Dr. Axe i think beef bone broth has more unknown beneficial things to our body. My mother was diagnosed with AML the worst kind of leukemia with the gene TP53 deactivated (guardian of the immune system). After giving her beef bone broth for almost 2 months she is completely free of malignancy ,according to the last bone marrow aspiration performed a week ago. So, may restore some of the genetic profile of a sick person.

@@mariamaabubakari1927, you can use cooked or raw chicken bones. We use left over carcass from roast chicken. Ideally with intact gristle. Split open the larger bones. Cover with water, add juice of half a lemon or 2tablespoons apple cider vinegar. Simmer for at lrast 2-4 hours, or until the gristle dissolves. Skim of scum forming on top, & discard. Strsin whilst still warm & liquid, & pour into in cup size portions & or ice cube trays, what ever suits. When cool, it willset as a get that reliquidises when heated. Freeze & use daily for a few weeks, then as much as needed, usually at least several cups over the week. Great as a soup & casserole base. Made plain like this, with no onion garlic or veg, it is also suitable for cats & dogs. Add the flesh, if you wish

I've never had type 2 collagen from chicken bone broth form, but I have had it in pill form hoping to fix some of the damage years of chronic inflammation wreaked on my joints. I have metabolic syndrome and the keto diet reduced my systemic inflammation and all the chronic pain disappeared, but taking the type 2 collagen pills re-inflamed my system. It must have a higher carb content than types 1 & 3, since I can take those supplements and have no systemic response. I'm afraid to try type 2 again, but my diet is seriously lacking in that nutrient, so I'm going to give the bone broth form a try. I'm hoping my body won't reject it in it's most organic form. I'll come back with the results!
