I’ve just finished 14 days, and I can tell you my knee and joint pain is gone. I’m about to start a large tub now. I have it in tea every morning. It is hard to impress me, but this works. My mother (in her 60’s) is also taking it and says she is very impressed with results too. She has had inflammation in her joints and has said this is now gone. In fact wishes she had started sooner. I don’t normally comment on videos like this but felt I needed to agree that this does work.

My hair has gotten so dense since taking unflavored collagen & unflavored bone broth daily! My Afro has not been this thick since childhood. My nails did okay but after I went 95% carnivore they really got stronger. My right knee, right ankle & the pain on the bottom of my left foot have completely disappeared. 49 in December- not one wrinkle & my skin is so soft. I put a serving of Vitamin C, L-cystine & silica in each serving. I don’t skip a day. The other benefit is I didn’t realize how bad my gut was until I started taking it. I started off with Vitals but switched to Great Lakes Wellness because they have a 8lb bag. More cost efficient. Been taking 10 months.

I am 73 and I began a Ketogenic lifestyle January 2020. At that time I noticed fine lines and wrinkles developing around my eyes and upper lip. At that time, I also started Vital Proteins Collagen. I use both products in my morning coffee. After three years of daily use, I can say I will never stop using it. I have no more joint pain. I used to have problems with my hands - no more! I’ve never had nice fingernails and was spending lots of money getting gel nails every month. NO MORE! My nails now look great and I do my own manicures. No more fine lines and wrinkles on my face. It’s hard to say what caused these results the Keto or the collagen. I’ve also lost 80 pounds. The difference in my mobility is amazing. The one thing I know is I’m Keto for the rest of my life and Vitality Proteins Collagen is going to continue to be my mainstay.

I took this supplement everyday for about a year. I noticed my finger nails grew longer & healthier. I also felt like my skin was better but the most exciting thing for me was my hair. It grew longer faster & it did seem to be thick. Just longer & fuller. My doctor told me to stop taking it because he said it was a waste so I stopped, boy was he wrong!!! My nails changed. Growing slower & more brittle. And as for my hair definitely not happy with that. Not nearly as healthy & shedding constantly. I have lost so much hair. This supplement really works. If you are on the fence about it try it. You will see results.

Listening to your experience was interesting! I've noticed after a week and half taking 2 scoops of non-flavoured Vital Proteins Collagen, my nails do not crack anymore like they use to. I actually got a buzzcut two weeks ago and noticed that my hair grew back slightly faster than usual and definitely a little bit thicker and felt soft. My skin looks great too and helped reduce some small areas of acne I had on my forehead. I take collagen during my eating window and after working out and has made me feel a lot fuller. I have also noticed post-work out taking collagen, it has really made me feel better, more energized and my body doesn't hurt as much afterwards. I usually take collagen in my coffee. I have tried taking it in cold water before and did not appeal to me very well and the taste was subtle.

@Keto with JT Ok, but if I could source bovine collagen from New Zealand (where they have strict mad cow protocols) I would 100% take it every day. Given how it takes a human 10-20 years to develop symptoms of mad cow and the US's rather spotty record with safety protocols, I'm extraordinarily reluctant to just wing it with bovine collagen...

I do think it helped my hair but I also stopped coloring and that made a BIG difference. I run/walk and my joints are feeling great. At 68 years of age, I do believe it has made a difference. One more thing; my skin looks healthy and I believe it's the collagen plus sunscreen every day. Thanks so much.

Those with arthritis or inflammatory joint/muscle pains, listen up. I've been taking collagen for a year but still experience lower back pain if I stand and don't move around much for 2+ hours. Plus my tennis elbow pain is also more noticeable. (I've always had minor arthritic inflammation since young). But when I added 2 capsules of turmeric powder daily, I noticed my inflammatory pains decreased by maybe 50%. So experiment a bit and consider turmeric in your routine.

So I give this to my cat who is pushing 22 years old. She definitely has the typical old lady problems like arthritis and kidney and thyroid disease, however, I feel like her fur has suddenly gotten a lot fluffier and she’s still walking around and doing stairs. She recently injured her paw by hyper extending the ligaments which is usually a very difficult injury to deal with but within a week she’s back to walking around with only a slight limp. At her age, I’m sure that good genetics are a big part of it but people are amazed That she can still get around as well as she does.

I do not jump on current bandwagons easily; however, in at least one aspect I am amazed. That would be my nails, which have always been problematic. I have been taking Vital Proteins, two scoops a.m. in my coffee every morning . I am 77 and in the last few years they have had the worst, peeling, splitting to the quick, of my life. I truly have tried everything and I have a very healthy diet. Well, my nails have hardened and are growing like crazy and no peeling! They also hold their shape which is allowing nail polish for the first time in years. Have not noticed a hair difference or skin difference, but keeping an eye on both. Not noticed a difference in joint pAin, either, but I will keep taking this for the nail miracle alone! Be patient people, it takes a long time for those nails to grow. I noticed a big difference at about the 3-4 month period. Thanks for the Costco tip, sure beats Amazon!

I have tried several. I always come back to Vital Proteins. This with a zero carb diet, I have brunette hairs showing up in my gray, my hair grows faster, nails are super strong and people don’t believe I’m 59. Proper diet and collagen works! Vital is the best of them all.

I have also been taking Vital Proteins since January. I started taking it as a supplement to switching to a carnivore diet. Since I get more collagen from fatty meat, I use one scoop per day. Within two weeks, years of chronic knee pain was completely gone. It was shocking because every medical professional who evaluated me said I had arthritis and it would only get worse. Of course there are two factors at work here: Carnivore + collagen. I stayed strict carnivore for 6 months, lost 30 pounds, and now I would describe my diet as ketovore. My carb intake is extremely low, and my vegetable intake is very limited, but does include small quantities of berries, mushrooms, avocados, and cruciferous vegetables. I feel like 20 years have been peeled back in countless ways. I am 65, and have hair thinning, but the rate of growth and the thickness of my hair has definitely improved. It seems like the thin areas are filling in too. My nails are growing faster. I can't objectively make any claims about my skin.

I love reading this David. Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I especially liked what you said about years of chronic knee pain completely gone. And medical professionals telling you it would only get worse. Sounds like you are a living example of the phrase "food is medicine". That's awesome! Sounds like your Carnivore + collagen turned ketovore journey has been very positive for you. Thanks again for sharing!

@@JTJaredTaylor I'm happy to find your channel! I failed to mention that I was eating Keto for about 3 years prior to this. What I found though was that managing carbs was like managing cocaine. There was never a satisfying balance for me. It was always a struggle. My new diet works better for me. Regarding my knee pain, you know, I don't think health professionals in general go very far to find solutions for older people. They figure "yeah, you are 64, and your knees are gone, no surprise". Channels like yours help open people's eyes to the fact that many of us can soldier on and do much better. Diet and lifestyle are the key, not so much modern medicine. I'm a life long hiker and back packer. I can no longer do 20 miles in a day, but having good knees back means I'm still out there

@@sdeejo1sj It has been transformative for me, but yes, do your research. It's not as simple as just eating steaks. getting the right balance of everything is critical. As much as it has helped me, I'm leery of staying strict carnivore for life. After about 6 months, I started carefully integrating other foods one at a time. My diet will remain carnivore based, I guess the common term is "ketovore". As with all matters of health, individual factors will require some experimenting and adjustment. I can't claim that what I have done would be good for everyone. It has just been good for me. Best of luck to you!

I've been taking both the non and chocolate flavored Vital Proteins in my coffee everyday for about over a year mainly for joint pain that comes with autoimmune disease. It does help and yes my nails do grow a whole lot faster now that you mention it. I do think my hair is growing faster as well and not loosing as much from the autoimmune disease. Love the chocolate one better since it has a no calorie sweetener so one less thing I need to add to my coffee. I love it and if you want to get a good deal Costco will have it reduced about $8 usually 2 times a year which is when I stock up. Thank you for the great informative video!

I started taking Vital Proteins collagen powder everyday in my morning coffee back in late 2019, and it has helping my knee pain immensely! Nice side-effect, my hair is stronger, longer and shinier, too. For a short time when my store was out, I tried a different brand and it was not helpful at all, my knee pain returned. Needless to say, I’m sticking with Vital Proteins.
