My take away is milk thistle and more meat for my estrogen dominance. I know it's less when I'm keto. Estrogenic foods like soy and flax send me into a feeding frenzy. Also, I was thinking about what the Chinese would know about estrogen dominance. I haven't seen any Chinese who are estrogen dominant. Every woman going back to my great grandmother was, especially after menopause. I identify with the CornishX chickens - bred to be estrogen dominant so they gain weight twice as fast on a soy diet. My chicken farmer taught me that.

Dr. Axe, ive been using your collagen bone both powder and it is AMAZINGLY HEALING. Super helpful with healing my gut and improving my pcos symptoms. I love it. Everyone has been commenting on my hair too. Also, ive been listening since 2016. Thank you for the work you do! I enjoyed the tip about working out! I really learned to listen to my body and do what feels beneficial to me. When I’m groggy i will walk. When im hyper i will run. It’s all about loving and being gentle to our bodies. I think when we women understand that and treat our bodies gently, we optimize our health especially reproductive health🥰🥰🥰thank you again!

Ok my jaw dropped when I heard ‘lady comp’!!! Ahh yesss I used this EVERY SINGLE day for 500 days!!! I learned sooo much. And yes one could just take their own temperature and chart but this little device does help. Keep it right at your bedside because you must take your temperature BEFORE even standing … to go pee or get up. I was able to sell my device once I was no longer in need so ladies please check on line for gentle used if the price point of new doesn’t fit your budget. I also used a microscope ( extremely budget friendly) for mucosal viscosity and I found that a little tricky and second guessed a lot but it was helpful once again to learn about one’s own body and it’s cycles. We’re looking for patterns that tell our hormonal story . Awesome show Dr.Axe, loving the content .. THANK YOU 🙏🏻 💖

I am a 59 yo woman. I have been with an Integrative Doctor and a functional med practioner for 3 years. I am currently on bioavailable troches of Estrogen, Estrodial, Testosterone and progesterone. I get blood work 2x a year with a follow up with each dr to check my hormone levels. I have even gotten to the point where I understand my body to skip dosages. (the presence of chin hairs, or ovaries pinching) I also supplement with DIM and Calcium D-Glucarate to detox the excesses. My next appointment isn't for another 6 months. I will discuss a peptide protocol at that time. My diet is already paleo which has benefited me greatly. If you have any other points I should consider to either research or discuss with my medical team, I would appreciate any feedback on my current protocol. Especially considerations for the bioavailable troche hormones. The peptides protocol is a new subject for me. I plan to go down that rabbit hole for sure!

Currently on a 6 month check back. I honestly am not 100% if NP thyroid RX is bioavailable. Researching for the layman is exhaustive! I wondered if you could touch on balancing hormones particularly for woman who have had breast cancer and entering menapause. I'm 52 and perimenopauseal, menapause is just around the corner. I'm worried about a reoccurring cancer and all the diseases that come with menapause such as heart disease and bone loss. I'm on the fence with bioidenticle hormones, I don't think that's the answer. Although it seems a lot of women take them with no issues. I'm not sleeping well and seem to get warm sometimes. I feel like a video on this would benefit a lot of women. Gynecologists seem to be unhelpful. Probably because they little to no training on the topic.

Im on disability because i get them about 5 days a week. Ive tried everything. I recently got off of topiramate. Ive been taking magnesium for years. I had an allergic reaction to feverfew years ago. My headaches seem to be from food, weather changes ( barometric pressure) and definitely structural as well. I always seem to be tense in my neck and shoulders. Ive been to chiropractors but unfortunately it didnt seem to help. I also get migraines from hormones, its always right before my period i get them the worst. I really want to treat them naturally.
