The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. And He's calling us to repent and confess our sin, with a sincere purpose of amendment. No purpose of amendment, no forgiveness. James 3 : 11, 12 "Does a spring pour forth from the same opening fresh water and brackish? Can a fig tree, my brethren, yield olives, or a grapevine figs? No more can salt water yield fresh." Light and Darkness cannot dwell in the same place at the same time. Holiness cannot come from that which is unholy. Repentance and obedience to doing the word of God is essential to salvation. Trying needs to be converted to doing. Without Holiness no one shall see God.

You asked the question whether God will continue to bless America given how “stiff necked “ we have become? I don’t know. The one thing I do know is that when I read the OT in the Bible God sent the prophets to warn Jerusalem that if it carried on ignoring his Law there would be consequences. Result: exile. America is now testing God and even though God is patient and rich in mercy he also corrects those who drift away. As a country and as individuals we need to “put on sackcloth and ashes” and repent. Thank you Father for a beautiful homily!🙏

God God is the Lord of hosts. Besides Him, there is no God (Isaiah 44:6). God told His Son to “sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool” (Psalm 110, Matthew 22:44). God is the only one who knows ALL things: “But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not even the angels in heaven, NEITHER THE SON, but the Father” (Mark 13:32). God created and raised Jesus from the dead (Colossians 1:15; 1:18). This is the meaning of prototokos-birth order, first child born. God will quicken all who belong to him with His power and spirit that dwells in us, the same power and spirit that dwells in Jesus and raised him from the dead (Romans 8:11). God sent Jesus to show us His Way, His Truth, and His Life because those who do not choose the Father have chosen death. It is God who we must be reconciled to through Jesus Christ, for it is the Father who is the greatest of all (John 14:28).

Respectfully i dont agree with you Father. It is prudence to prepare for adversity. Those who keep blessed grapes are doing this, they are also honouring Christ's words through that seer. The shepherd's staff should be used against the wolves not the sheep.

I'm on the fence. I think being prepared is essential but I'm not convinced that the blessed grapes in brandy is the only way to do that or necessary. Just because a mystic said it. 🤔

I didn’t listen to the video because I won’t be robbed of my trust in the Lord. God told the blind man to go wash 7 times and he would be healed. It wasn’t the water that healed him it was his obedience and humility and trust in the words of the Lord that cured him. Superstition is believing there are powers in inanimate objects or in actions or words in and of themselves. A priest’s blessing over those grapes is the same as holy water or sacramentals. The recipient understands it is God acting in the blessing.
