The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The Congregation also staffs rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

The sacraments are so important! My Catholic Parents stopped practicing Catholicism and I am their only child who returned. I brought my children back with me. It is not for show, it is because I was called back by God, and in His great mercy HE led me home.

My kids (grown and one deceased) and I need your prayers please. I was raised and still am Catholic. But not church going (i want to but got circumstances) I also brought my kids to CCD thru confirmation, but not to mass because I couldn't handle their poor behavior at church. My husband - a major fail, no help whatsoever. I tried to teach my children the best I could. But it wasn't good enough. Soooo, please I need your prayers for mercy of my my failures. Mostly for my kids, for the sake of their eternal souls. That Jesus will somehow pull them to Him so they finally find, get to know, and ultimately love Him. Thank you to whoever reads this and prays for us. 😢

Maybe start to think that what we thought as our burdens may be the cross we are to bear, not in despair but in hope and full of God's love to carry them. You are blessed. We will pray with you. Never stop praying, never stop going to confession, mass and take the Holy Eucharist. The world may not change but our hearts and minds will be at peace amidst chaos on the temporary life here(this happened to me by experience too). Even st. monica prayed for more than 17yrs before his son St. Augustine was converted. ❤❤❤ God bless you always. In the bible, Jesus never promised peace on this earth, where even family members will be against each other (Mt. 10: 34-35) but He promised salvation to life everlasting through Him, by His cross, towards heaven.🙏🙏🙏

The last priest to tell me he knew why I was giving money, too buy my way to heaven, I stopped going to church. You don’t always know what we’re doing. You’re priest blessed to guide us. Your message in the typical message Of a Catholic to be a cynical and hypocritical instead of loving your parishioners and inviting them with your god actions. Listen to your own message. The right intention.

God is our Father, not Jesus, just as Paul tells us: One major revelation that was revealed to me while reading the Word was that Paul always tells us *in the beginning of EVERY chapter* he wrote that *God is our Father, and Jesus is our Lord:* “Grace be to you and peace from *God the Father, AND from our Lord Jesus Christ,”* I see why some people like to discredit Paul, for he spoke the true nature of God. Chosen by the Father to be one of His most prolific writers, despite his sinful past, Paul makes absolutely certain to separate God the Father from Jesus. Jesus is not God, he is the Son of God. The only God is God the Father, as Paul tried to tell us innumerable times: Romans 1:7-8 1 Corinthians 1:3-4 2 Corinthians 1:2-3 Galatians 1:3-4 Ephesians 1:2-3 Philippians 1:2 Colossians 1:2-3 1 Thessalonians 1:1 2 Thessalonians 1:2 1 Timothy 1:2 2 Timothy 1:2 Titus 1:4 Philemon 1:3

If I believe in Jesus, but not Catholic since my parents weren't (we went to Presbytarian church), am I not good enough in Christ eyes? Did Christ say be Catholic or you'll go to hell? Don't you think that rigid stance will drive good people away from being Catholic?

The Catholic Church teaches that God offers grace to all. Some cooperate with grace; some resist it. This is true of Catholics and non-Catholics. Holy Mass and the sacraments assist us in cooperating with God's grace and in persevering. Asking the Lord for the grace needed to do God's will and conform one's life to Christ is the kind of prayer that's always answered.

Truth is truth no matter how humans perceive it. It is the one and only church He instuted one, guided by the Apostles til the latest pope and where the only Holy Eucharist, His body, blood soul and divinity is ever present. Nowhere else. (ask all satanists, they know where their only enemy resides)...If one loves Jesus so much, then partake in the True Holy Eucharist. No self preferences should ever come before God. ❤ Seek truth. Never stop praying to know truth.

The Sacraments are sacred. How is our Scandalous Parish Priest allowed to give The Eucharist in his un chaste and sinful state? It seems the Parish are blind to his disgusting sinful actions which he hides and ke Rey ps under cover. He took advantage of a vulnerable woman who went to him for confession and then had relations with her. He has girl friends ! I have seen them visiting him! I pray desperately Jesus will remove this scandalous Priest.

I think the priest was just telling us that the Catholic Church was the Church Jesus left with the Apostles and disciples, with Peter being the rock on which I will build my Church, the words from Jesus in scripture. The Catholic Church also with the sacraments, and knowledge that Jesus said unless you eat my body and drink my blood you shall have no life in you, so the Catholic Church has the true body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus. While it looks like a host, Catholic's believe that through the miracle of transubstantiation only given by The Lord to the priests of the Catholic Church, the host becomes the actual body of Jesus, following scriptures word's just stated. Historical evidence show's, if you research it is the only Church to go back to the beginning with Jesus, all other Christian denominations broke away at various stages, and had their own variations on the discernment of what the Lord wanted for his church. Look up the conversion story of Scott Hahn, and many other Catholic converts, who could do a much better job of explaining than I can, and I'm a cradle Catholic, yet these people who explain their conversion stories are fervent and extraordinary in their understanding, God has blessed them abundantly.
