The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The Congregation also staffs rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

I've been dealing with a load of anxiety and fear lately from thing's I've seen and watched lately. It's not been very easy to live well like that, fearing about what tomorrow will bring. This homily really helps to put things into perspective, I'm going to need to delve much deeper into prayer and really focus on what matters. If any of you are willing, please pray that God may restore the peace in my heart and that I might be free from this episode of anxiety and fear. I want to live for today and for God, not fear for tomorrow and potentialities.

I understand you. You will find the clergy more welcoming and warm and understanding thank you expect. I had stayed away for 20 years and felt the way you did. I finally mustered up enough courage and humility to go to confession and slowly reintegrated myself back into receiving God's grace. Now I'm preaching to everyone about the Lord. The church and it's clergy are there for you and all of the world's people. All colors, all ages, all ethnicities, and all of its sinners. Follow that inner desire to bring yourself closer to God and you won't be disappointed.

Amen and AMEN !!! Thank you, Father Wilton. I've resolved to pray daily for ALL Priests. I pray that ALL priests recieve the special graces they need to carry out the extraordinary responsibilities they have to God and His people. Graces that priests would not otherwise have if we didn't pray for them. Forgive me for the years of negligence in this daily needed prayer due to the assumption that Priests already have achieved all the graces they need due to their ordination. That's the lie satan would have us buy into. The fact is our priests need more prayers. Pray, pray, pray !!! Pray daily for our priests 😔🙏📿🕯🕊ò

I am filled with a holy Joy 97% of the time. People really cannot believe me, and they either hate me or they love me. But it's true and authentic joy, I can't help it, I pray the rosary everyday! It doesn't matter what is going on around me, I have every reason in the world to be miserable, depressed and filled with fear, but I'm not! Instead I understand a peace that surpasseth all understanding and I am truly filled with Joy most of the time. The other 3% is when every broken heart I've ever had in my whole life, showed up at the same time and my heart shatters again. But I'm so grateful because then i have SOMETHING to offer up as a sacrifice that actually hurts. So it's all good. Thank you, Mother! I am your slave!

CPM has an unbelievable charism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. One must be blind to disagree.
