Does The EuroLeague Have More Intelligent Players Than The NBA? | REAL ONES HOTLINE

In this clip, a Real One calls in to ask Pat the difference between playing in the EuroLeague vs playing in the NBA. Pat discusses his time playing in Ukraine, Russia and Greece. He talks about the levels between the different clubs, including playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe, Olympiacos.
Pat also recommends that Rone visits the city of islands, St. Petersburg Russia and why it's a sleeper party city.

It’s again a misconception here, #euroleague is not every league in Europe. #Euroleague is set of clubs from certain countries. It’s the best competition besides the NBA. When Pat is talking about his teammate taking shot before the game it’s definitely was not during the Euroleague game. There are only 18 teams in Euroleague, if some American play in Europe but it is not one of those clubs, trust me he is not playing in Euroleague.

I really like Pat Bev the European, he really embraced the Balkans culture, which is one of the coolest ways of living. It's a matter of space. In Europe you don't have defensive three seconds violation. So you can plant a big or two and protect the paint. Also the three point line is 2 feet closer. So defense can recover faster. Hence teams need to use ball movement to create space, there is no way you can play one on one like in the Nba. Think of the Spurs play in 2014 against Miami. So if ball movement is needed to create offense, athleticism is not as essential, ball moves faster than a player.

Rising from the shit to reach the top makes players GREAT... the problem with guys that are superstars from day 1 is that they don't appreciate what they have... they become pampered and spoiled... this is why Giannis and Jokic are utterly destroying the NBA... Jokic was a kid in a country in the middle of war... Giannis was raised and half the days there wasn't enough food on the table... when he got recognized as a talent the Greek scouter told his family to give Giannis more food than his brothers cause he needed it and the scouter actually gave some money out of his limited pocket to help with food as well... imagine how you feel filling your stomach while you see your brothers wanting more and not having enough for them... How many NBA players have actually experienced shit like that? Sorry but even the NBA players that were raised in very bad neighborhoods, most of them had a good plate of food every night and a warm bed... people that have been raised in hell are always very hard to deal with because compared to that, a game of basketball is NOTHING for them...

But if you look at the youth world cups, countries like france, spain and slovenia are already on the level of the usa, despite still being behind athleticly.
