Shaq's job is to talk about the game as he see's it. I think some of you are not giving him his props either. Everything that Joker is at this point as a player. Shaq was more and he was more in an era of elite big men. Hakeem, David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Ewing, Zo, KG, Dirk, Ben Wallace, Rodman, Mutumbo, Webber, Malone, Chuck... Remember what Jordan said about Curry? Did we go crazy? This type of reaction from Joker fans makes people who really understand the history of the game annoyed. Haven’t forgotten. The shows been amazing. But all good things come to an end. Every quality TV show goes past its expiry date and becomes old. Inside the NBA is starting to feel that way. I even get his frustration regarding the MVP voting to a point. One big argument for Nash winning MVP twice was always, that he secured the Suns the 1st seat, now in recent years getting 1st seat hasn't been that important for MVP results anymore, so they somewhat changed the criteria. Nevertheless venting his frustration during the Jokic interview was definitely not a classy move, Jokic deserved better than that and I hope Shaq apologizes for that at some point. Chuck is a free person in a free country, he should be allowed to voice his political opinions and I don't feel he overdoes it during sports broadcasts. Maybe Kenny walking out of the broadcast was a bit performative, I guess you could accuse him of virtue signaling, otoh incidents like the George Floyd killing surely trigger a trauma in the black community, police brutality is a serious issue and has been throughout history, try to see it from their side as well.
