Really great work documenting the build. Has been really helpful for me in dealing with linear actuators for the 1st time.
this video is exactly what I need!!! Thank you so much for making it!
Thanks for showing how to work with linear actuators :) Can you please make a list of used parts with links where to buy? :) I would be really thankful!
Nicely done!
nice job on the frame work
thanks for the help!
I use a aa batteries it adds up to 12 volt DC I went to RadioShack to get the casing for the batteries I love this tutorial of his wings it's been very helpful thank you very much and I will share it on my KZread page lougami
Hello amazing job love it 😍 one question what are the measurements for the rods and stocks please how many of each I would love to try and do this 👏 tank you hope for and answer
love the video subscribed. any way of showing how you made the hinges or any suggestions on a tutorial.
Nice work but would of been nice to see the final work..? I feel like I’m missing something?
can you do a video of how you decorated them and stuff?
Nice work ^_^ Do you know a way to control the speed of the opening of the wings? If I want to open a little slower for example Thanks
Good night, Kraven. I would like to know the size of each piece of your wing. Unfortunately, I can not reproduce these measures. I intend to make a slight modification to the opening. Congratulations on your excellent work.
I there I love your tutorial. I was trying to make one for a parade I will be attending in August, however the aluminum rods does not stay upright. I am wondering if the correct bending of the aluminum rods will help.
How did you make them. Your design is perfect for a cosplay that I'm working on.
Free of Charge
Have you figured out a way to speed up the opening of the wing? For my wings it needs to open a little faster
First of all, amazing job! Do you have any schematics of the wings? Thank you in advance! :)
cool
I was wondering if you have the dimensions of your setup? Aluminum stock sizes etc.
Where did u get your aluminum parts? I'm making wings just like these for Halloween and comic con.
ok, but all the exoskeleton regarding steel wings? Did you create it or where did you buy it?
which is the measure of the engine and few pounds is recommended
Can you attach 2 Linear Actuarors?

I don't have a local store near me either. I stated in the tutorial that I got my actuator online at amazon.com
Do they have quieter ones cause I don’t know anything about this and I wanna get it as quiet as possible 🤔
What size liner actuator did you use?
I’m trying to make my kid some buzz lightyear wings that extend. New to cosplay, any tips?
I was wondering, do you still have the link for the trash bag demonstration?
Can we see it in action?
What are those Brackets? I cannot find them anywhere for the life of me, and from what you say or looking at it etc nothing has them, Please can someone point me to them? i'm sure its not that hard to find some

Did the party still go well?
What specifically did you use to connect the rods and connect them to the base? I went to Lowe's and couldn't find any grounding brackets that were similar to yours. Do you know of any alternatives? These looks so great!

home depot I know has them. I don't know of any alternatives yet. Not without machining the pieces yourself. try copying and pasting the headline below into Google shop or amazon. there are several different sizes so be careful before you buy. if you can find it locally then you can compair it to which ever aluminum rod you have chosen for you project Wire Connectors: Blackburn Electrical Supplies #2/0 Stranded Max Type-ADR 2-Conductor 1-Hole Mount

I picked up a small 12v battery jump pack for a car, it's a lightweight lithium battery pack so it's good for a lot of cycles and easy to recharge it. I think it was around $40 online.
Love your idea please get in touch with me it is urgent need help on wings
would it be possibly to post the links of the items you bought on amazon

I think it even will tell you where in the store it is aprox. aluminum rod : Model # 801647 Internet #204273994 Store SKU #477052 Steel rod: Model # 801587 Internet #204273972 Store SKU #476614

Kraven Z. awesome! thank you :3
How long were the aluminum rods?
@kravecreations3057
6 жыл бұрын
Phoenixgamer well I guess that depends on what your asking... the stock rods where like 40+ inches and as for the pieces I cut for my wings well.....that is going to vary depending on your design.
Question 1: How
how did you attach the wing feathers?
@kravecreations3057
7 жыл бұрын
Mt. Crushmore I didn't end up using feathers. I ran out of time for that but I created a flexible skin out of thin painter plastic, spray adhesive, and a few layers of latex. Around the major joints I sewed spandex fabric to protect the hinges before applying the plastic and latex.
Does it have to be 12 volt?
@NewEnglandSPL
6 жыл бұрын
12v is the easiest way to go, plenty of actuators and power supplies available in 12v and you're able to keep things compact for hiding in the costume or around the actuator. Anything high would require a much larger power supply.
If i send you mt email address, could you send me the dimensions? I usually do leather working if you need something made in return.
