Plenty of other people cover it, but it's very difficult to gain a large following on youtube when you post movie reviews and movie discussions. There are some amazing youtubers out there, but a lot of them have barely any following.

I like that John is lined up with the two circles in the background for the Disney video. All I see are Mickey ears.

Fr, I never thought I’d live to see that. I heard about the video game and thought an animated straight to streaming movie would be possible (kinda like the animated DCU) but that shocked me. If this does well, I don’t there’s anyway in hell a live action Batman Beyond movie movie can’t do just as good if not better.

For TMNT Last Ronin. Hoping they make it gritty and grounded like the 1990 film while staying true to the book. Hell, bring back the Henson turtle costumes, and Judith Hoag or Paige Turco as April.

Yea, I think they are 100% going to try to have the same or similar feel to the original movies, but probably even a little more serious because most Turtle fans are adults and want to see the more serious side.

I may have you beat on the Transformer fandom John. I did all those things you did plus made my own Teletran 1 out of cardboard as a kid but as an adult I admittedly still buy Takara and Fanstoys Transformer figures and watch the OG show a few times a year.

I like the idea for the new TMNT.

I’m pretty sure that Optimus’s design will change after he gets the Matrix of Leadership.

Transformers is not a new iteration. They're exploring the history that they introduced in G1. They looked vastly different as Orion Pax and whatever they're naming Megatron. The hardest part to get used to will be not having Perer Cullen as Optimus, but I believe Orion's voice was not Peter Cullen so it wont be too bad at first.

They better play that scene of Deadpool and Wolverine telling everyone to turn their phones off at the actual movie theaters.

Thank you for the coverage. A couple things strike me as embarrassing (shout out Pixar). It's embarrassing we as fans think it's so great Kevin Feige said f*ck. It's like we're the little boy in Jerry McGuire "You said f*ck.". 😳 Then I hate Kevin Feige talked about the popcorn bucket. It seemed thirsty to talk about the zeitgeist, but I'm a Dune fan so I'm biased. Glad you're having fun and I'm excited for all.

Hey John, I'm really surprised that Paramount didn't announce more casting for Scream 7, my second most anticipated movie of 2025. I thought maybe they would have done at least that. But I guess not. I have been getting into the video game adaptations, including Sonic. I liked the first two movies and can't wait for the 3rd. I'm also looking forward to the Knuckles series. Twisted Metal with Neve Campbell and Anthony Mackie is my favorite one thus far. It has been my most watched. I've watched the whole first season 3 times already. Sonic the Hedgehog I've watched twice.

cinemacon is almost never a place for casting

I love the 1980’s Transformers movie. I think it is so good and fairly important that if it didn’t exist, there is a good chance the modern movies would not be made at all.

Other than A Quiet Place I would say Joseph's Quin's year will be a dice roll.

I don’t mind a few trailers. Can the movie theatres cut out the additional 10 to 15 min of commercials. Why advertise the concessions when every theatre you go to is design no matter what theatre you attend you have to pass a great big concession stand selling food and drinks. Every guest sees it before going to take their seats. Movie theatre stop advertising concession stands in the movie before trailers starts. It’s very taxing on the mind and body. We get it that it’s there for our convenience. T

As far i remeber in most Transfor. origin stories both Megatron and espec. Optimus Prime gen. looked very different before their change as young bots on their planet. When optimus(Orion) bacema O.P. he completely changed his physical look and basicly got severe upgrade with matrix of leadership so i dont see why there should be problem with 2 of them looking different in that time period on Cybertron.

I'm so excited to see what they do with the TMNT The Last Ronin movie. The storyline is great and should translate to live action very well.

I don't mind the movie trailers much, but I went to see Godzilla Minus One a few weeks late after going on vacay and Regal showed 20 minutes of straight up regular commercials!!!! I will never go to another Regal theater again.

There is one thing I think is crazy. Why is it, that the film panel is closed to most of the world do too you cant go to USA for some days. How is that good PR? When we see that games are doing everything online. I get that they want people to also go to the cinemacon etc. But people still go to gaming conventions. personally i believe most people will go. If they can. But it sucks that we cant buy ticket to watch online

I would say it's because CinemaCon isn't open to the general public. You have to be involved in the movie theater industry in some way to go (that's my understanding, at least). The point of it is to get theaters psyched about upcoming movies so that can decide which movies they want to give more screens to. That's why they show clips (or in some cases, entire movies) months before the general public gets to see them. It's very different from say ComicCon, which anyone can attend.

I saw monkey man lastnight....and....I was let down abit. The last 10mins was great. Exactly what I was expecting from the fight scenes. But everything up to that point was kinda boring. There weren't a ton of fight scenes and leading up to end he pretty much gets beat up the whole Time. Then he punches a punching bag for abit and holds some water buckets up and all the sudden he's mr. badass?! I was just expecting so much more action after the amazing trailer. Now I'm even more excited for "BOY KILLS WORLD" I was expecting something like that, full tilt carnage and brutal combat start to finish.

Live action TMNT that's R rated? Yes, please!
