It's true you can never predict a dir en Grey's s song . 🤣🤣

This song is just on another level in my opinion. The whole performance, the lyrics, the instrumental. It's like a requiem for an end of the world scenario. One of my favorite songs, especially that guitar part and Kyo's singing at the end. Clean vocals, then growls and then the high pitch. Absolutely insane!

I think it's one of their best written songs that they've made. It's God tier levels of musicianship and emotion. You have no idea how happy I am that you guys reviewed and reacted to this song. And just the fact that you were speechless at the end says it all

It's giving me Macabre vibes if I'm being honest. This is one their most versatile songs i have ever heard.

You know shits about to go down when Kyo gets on the altar xD

The clip starts at the end of one of Kyo's Inward Screams, something he usually does once or twice per concert. It's basically him doing a vocal "solo" with whatever sounds he feels like doing right at that moment. They're never the same twice, and always awesome. Oh, and watching Kyo pull his "intestines" out and then dropping them and stomping on them at a live concert is actually quite disconcerting. The man can evoke emotions...

Kyo was actually crying at the end of Ranunculus, which was played before this track. The track before that, Keigaku no Yoku, was probably the darkest song they played on this stream, and Ranunculus was essentially the small light at the end of the tunnel. Kyo is a master of evoking emotion, but I've never seen him flat out cry in a performance. Truly one of the best vocalists of our time

It's so nice to see other ppl get as hyped about dir en grey as me 🔥❤️

I love Kyo’s performance art style of front manning the band. I saw them in Chicago in 2013 and he had makeup to make him look like a skeleton, but kept this thin white sheet over him. The box he stands on has a light facing upward on it, with a fan as well. So while he was up there singing, the sheet is blowing around and the light is illuminating his makeup through the sheet and he looked like a fucking ghost. It was unreal. I love that their shows aren’t just a band playing songs, but also visual art as well.

I love kyos performances live he really brings a creepy emotional element to the songs with his outbursts which really sucks you into the atmosphere

I'm worried that if Dir En Grey keep improving, they'll cause the universe to implode in on itself. Worth though.

"they just keep getting better and better" well said lol And, as always, I'd just like to point out: Within literally any random DEG song, you will find more original, creative and unique elements than many bands don't manage to bring to the table within the span fo their entire career. Needless to say that is not for everybody, not by a long shot. But it's one of the things I personally admire about them the most. Cheers, guys. Happy New Year.

This song is so emotional, like before he starts screaming, in the screen behind him you see some1 jump off the 'school building' and kyo's raw emotions flowing through, first time i watched this i cried

Saw them perform this in Morioka 2019. Since they change style during a new tour so not exactly as this one but not hard to be in trance when they are performing. Especially Kyo. If you are able to see them once I highly recommend it. Also what Jon said I also got the feeling of the joker
