Yeap, there is one in which they did behind close doors with no audience; I think Kaya uploaded it it. Fun fact: when the song firs came out only had a promotional clip which included de students, school, and teacher. The teacher is Kyo. The lyrics part that say:"the clown's dance" is why he does the movements with his hands. Many bullies, are one way away from home.

It's never a pleasant sight to see, deep and strong raw emotional pain. If you can understand, there's nothing so sad to see and hear. If you experienced it, there's nothing more soothing and relieving to see and reminded, that you're not alone. These are the types of reaction they will always receive for always accurately expressing, many different types of "pain" which is their goal and main concept.

Man, I’m like you! I have trouble explaining some deepsh1t like this hahahahahaha. But I kinda had the same understanding! Dir en grey’s lyrics have really deep meaning! And yes, you should react to the live as well! I love this band so much! It’s a pity it isn’t for anyone, specially this kind of crazy vocals… I saw them live here in Brazil in september 2011. I was waiting for your reaction. As you said it's a hard song to interpret. I guess it's titled "The World of Mercy" ironically as this world is far from that and is quite cruel as opposed to the song title. The video is quite artistic and probably has a lot of symbolism in it. Anyways I liked your interpretation of the song. Thank you for your reaction. When they released their single "Oboro", they also released a remake of one of their songs from the album Kisou, "The domestic fucker family". Maybe you can react to that next. I took it as the worlds phasing into desensitization of the world against each other. Also note, almost every scene of the kids, one of them was taking video out of mockery. In other words, hypocrisy of the term. What’s even more chilling is this was made in 2019 and shits gotten so much worse

I been meaning to check out some more Sukekiyo, just trying to make sure I'm in the right mindset for it since they have so many layers to their stuff.

06:57 I realised, that they put an used tampon on her face. :x I think the teacher is Kyo, but he have not tattoss on his hands, but may they retouched it? Because of the movements, when the teacher is doing this weird gestures witth his arms at the later part on the video, that looks like Kyo, but IDK man, cause where is he in this video? I´m sure this version got cencored in tv?

They might have filmed shots with Kyo first and then got a stand in for b roll or non-face shots

By the way, oddly enough, Mylene Farmer also had a similar effect of an erased face in the A' LOmbre video (but there the effect was made by smearing white clay and drawing creepy faces with charcoal and paint. But it looks very psychologically creepy and symbolic there. Face erasure - like erasing oneself, one's personality. And drawing it again, or how the whole crust of clay bursts. There's screaming your favorite is also horror, although they call the style of music for some reason hip-hop. It's not very clear to me why. But it doesn't matter, the main thing is coolly done.

Yeah, conformity is another way to look at the masks the kids are wearing. Probably what they were actually going for, considering the subject matter of their recent songs. "Ahaha. You can never be too careful! 😂 Someone somewhere WILL absolutely misrepresent your words if you don't clarify, I'm just trying to get ahead of it lol As for the school setting, I think there's just a lot of societal issues that are prevalent in the school system in Japan, so a lot of material is written about it. Bullying, pressure, suicide, etc. I may be wrong, though. I've never heard of those two bands, but I don't mind checking them out!

I’m not sure about Japanese schools, honestly, in the end it turns out that Japanese schools are so good and wonderful, both in terms of nutrition and education, and in terms of ethics and the level of culture once again, if you start a serious analysis and compare with schools in my country. And the topic of bullying or shooting in schools is perhaps more relevant for America in general (because in America people have more weapons in their hands). Bowie also had a song and video on the subject in 2013 in the footsteps of recent events.
