Well that's what happens when plant holds on for dear life and ref doesn't warn him, and when benavidez adjusted and stated fighting on the inside out of the clinch he would get split up by the ref. Not to mention that deliberate low blow when plant was about to be put out.

This fight made me lose confidence in Benny. He struggled too much here and Canelo would drop him in probably less than 10. Benny should move up to 175 but he ain't trying to see Beterbiev or Bivol. Kenny Bayless really f'd up this fight. It's like he had money on Plant. Goes to show boxing is still corrupt with judges and even refs. I held him at a higher standard than other refs and tonight I lost some respect for him. Boxing please do better. While the card tonight was pretty damn solid you saw a few glimpses why people flocked over to MMA. I love boxing but it keeps breaking my heart. Glad Benny won tonight I hoped he'd finish Plant.

I was disappointed with benavidez performance. He looked a little sloppy at times when Caleb plant was fighting well. He pulled through and got into his rhythm but benavidez lacks skills, and I do not think his father has the training iq to change him. He needs a better trainer as well as rayo. Canelo will definitely beat him with body shots.

Canelo starches David benavidez by the 10 round. He's not ready for canelo. Reason I believe canelo won't fight him is because he respects that he's another future Mexican hall of famer and doesn't want to be the one to give David his first loss.If he agrees to the benavidez fight I'll be surprised. Again I don't see that fight happening for at least 3 years. 3 years is enough to give benavidez that experience in fighting tougher fighters.

What a paid judge how tf do you have 117-111 for Benavides what a robbery. Caleb easily swept the 5 rounds in the first half and won the 12 th round

Good fight. Happy they both made it happen and went at it in ring. Pay attention the rest of you 1,2 and 3rd top guys in your weight classes. This is how it’s done.

David the dog Benavidez. He was patient. Stamina was great. Never got frustrated only be Bayless trying to slow down his momentum. Him and Canelo is a solid stylistic fight and they both respect each other. Should be a war. Fake Plant fans can be mad that he couldn't get it done but he couldn't and y'all have to live with that 😂

Thad track star would have never fought prime Canelo.
