All the greats in the history of boxing have taken loses. Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Robinson, Manny, Duran, Joe Louis etc. nowadays people act like someone’s career is over if they take a loss. It is ridiculous. There’s so many great boxers today and if none of them have a loss it means they didn’t fight each other, which means we as the fans are getting screwed. I’m happy and thankful for Devin and Ryan because neither of them are afraid to fight whoever. They are both great for boxing.

Devin got bigger after the weight in as well, he went to up like 160lbs

Throughout the history of boxing if the champion makes weight then the belt is on the line! this is not the first time this happened in 110+ years of boxing! Whenever it was a situation like this the title would become vacant if the champion weighed in at proper weight & lost! In this kind of situation any other time in boxing If the champion weighed in at championship weight then the belt was on the line regardless again Ryan cant win it but Haney can lose it & shouldve lost it it should be vacant rn

I didn't think Ryan would win either. And of course 3 lbs make a difference. But don't change your tune now and say that was the deciding factor in this fight. When Ryan missed weight, you guys laughed at him for making the bet, saying he was gonna pay 1.5 million to lose. Haney said he was going to retire that C class fighter, and Bill said Haney was going to kill him in the ring. When people said Haney has no power, you guys acted like he was some KO artist because he knocked down Prograis. When people said he had no chin, you guys said he did at 140. Either way, he wouldn't get caught by Ryan's left hook. I didn't expect Ryan to win, even though i knew Haney wasn't that good at the top level. He is a worse Amir Khan since he lacks even respectable power and has possibly a worse chin. But I expected Haney to win because Ryan is arrogant and thinks he's better than he is. Haney proved that he is just as arrogant, and that's why he lost. He bought into his own hype. I dont see a scenario where Haney beats Ryan now, even at the same weight. Haney has no chin and has to fight an entirely perfect fight because of it, and that's a lot to ask. But dont worry Ryan haters, Ryan will get beat by someone else in due time. With no rehydration clause and at his own weight. And it'll be because of his arrogance as well. Just as Haney thought he was an all-time great because he squeaked by some questionable fights, Ryan now feels that way because he beat Haney. Someone will humble him. And i respect Haney because of his professionalism and willingness to fight anyone. But he was blinded by arrogance and it was only a matter of time.

No one should be allowed to miss weight. I know it happens. But if you miss weight the fight should be postponed. I don't care what anyone says, Ryan took advantage of a situation and the fight was not on a even playing field. There are too many loop holes in boxing and is continued to be ignored because of money. Call it what you like but it's cheating.Especially if it's done intentionally. It does not matter if Haney agreed or not. That is killing boxing and boxers need to help accountable for it.
