A Man who trained so hard for 10-12 weeks and ended up just hugging BENAVIDEZ....trying to survive, he's a Bit*h, the way he talks is not the way he can fight.

Plant held his own and fought with heart and dug deep. He made not 1 excuse and I 100% respect him

It's disappointing how Plants career has played out..I've been saying since I discovered him in 2016 that if he developed his style correctly he could be at the very top of the sport. He's such a skilled technical fighter but never developed his inside game. He was boxing great in the first half against Canelo and Benavidez but couldn't handle the pressure once it got turned up.

The truth is Plant has holes in his style. He does a great job imitating floyd mayweather’s philly shell but the thing is that’s one half of his style. Floyd would also put his hands up and walk forward when necessary. He had a high guard he would switch to. Plant just lets these guys pummel his philly shell block that’s why he loses. But he was clearly beating Canelo up until he got knocked out Plant would have won that unanimous decision.

I also noticed that he's so focused on speed that he pulls punches back to get himself back into a defensive position...he needs to focus on punching through his target as he's a physically strong man with good power.

All that muscle requires oxygen he gets tired quickly and he stood in the clinch for no reason

@@wicked25 Plant's muscles are lean...he's not bulky...He has good stamina he just needs to be more nasty on offense.

Caleb Plant is a classy guy. He is one of the most skillful boxers around but has heart too. I want to see him and Canelo again and him and Benevidez again.

He would've won had he better stamina. Rounds 1 2 4 5 and 6 and maybe 7 (gotta rewatch) were all beautiful boxing. It's a damn shame he just hasn't got that natural gifted power that David has. He just can't faze a guy like that or get his respect. It was a close fight tho, yes David won but close nonetheless.

@@jaydinero2503 skill wise, nah mate, caleb is slick af. 2 things determine a fight. Styles and a gameplan and both of those weren't great for caleb. His style was fairly effective but only for a bit and his gameplan was all wrong. Props to benavidez tho he's a beast regardless tho I don't see him or anyone beating canelo rn at 168. Except bivol

There's nothing for him at 168 he can't compete with the elite of the Division only the B level 168 pounders like Dirrell and Uscategui
