I think this fight could be a chess-match. Both are smart cookies. Conor is trying to do to Floyd what he did to Aldo: get inside his head, wind him up and make him want to destroy Conor in a rage... then Conor will pick him off with heavy counter-punches.... But that's not going to work, Floyd is too smart and is not a come-forward boxer anyway. It may be possible for Conor to come forward and use his athleticism, unconventional movement and energy to smother Floyd. That may actually be his best bet, as we saw Floyd struggled at times against Maidana. But again, Floyd has seen it before, and will know how to manage it... except that there is always the risk of one short getting through which can be enough, especially given that Conor is the bigger man. It'll be interesting, but 90% in Floyd's favour.

Maidana is a point boxer/brawler. Conor does not have this experience, and his little time training for the extra stamina will not allow him to go so hard against Floyd for 12 rounds- probably 3, max 5. Also accurate shots always trump unorthodox styles, especially in boxing, and Floyd is too seasoned for that shit. I remember when this shit first went down he already had Conor's style clued up as aqua style. Im sure Conor will give him a good fight, but there aint no beating Floyd, especially when this fight means that much to him

Lemme give yall a quick update lol, Mayweathers team made it a setup. Started with 10 oz gloves so connor practices with them, meanwhile knowing that connor would love to downsize at anytime and they waited till the right moment to switch so connor isnt usto the 8 oz. besides mayweather originaly uses 8 oz in fights. lol smart fkn guy

RumbleYoungMan Rumble this is way too late, but training with a heavier glove helps build power and speed, so when you put on a smaller glove, you’re faster and have more power because your arms are working less hard because of the lighter glove

Lol I came from a thai boxing background. Training 5 days a wk in the gym plus lot of work outside training twice a day. Went to boxing gyms as used to box, I could hold my own, some came to our gym and we let kicked the shit out of them! Ended up being cocky and going to an mma, where I was one the best strikers....soon as we spared I was on my back tapping....I went back twice a wk and kept training must thai ....took me six months to start getting the better of people. You know nothing about mma! From Art Jimson in UFC 1 a top ten boxing to Tony Tubbs against Randy Couture Boxing loses to mma in a REAL fight. If you really even box, try going to an mma class and I promise you will get owned!!! Mma takes the best of every art Inc boxing .....UFC has proved what is the best! Mayweather though should win as this is boxing and not mma !!!!
