I've found that most street fights usually start with a couple swings to test the opponent, and then an all out fucking brawl with kicks, grappling, and the like. At least, the more serious ones. The ones with people who don't know how to fight usually do end up being just two people trading blows until one shits his pants.

People keep forgetting that before Conor hit it big, around early 2013 or so, he sometimes didn't know where his next meal would come from. That's how broke this kid was and in just 4 years he became the king of the mountain. That's some serious success story sh*t that deserves a boatload of respect. Mayweather has been around for a long time and has been King of his mountain from the start and has never been dethroned. These two are definite success stories and show that anything/everything can happen if you believe. For Conor, win, lose or draw, he's a winner just for showing up and like in any fight, be it in the octagon, boxing ring or street fight, he has a fighter's chance and can also be one punch away from a win. And no I am not calling it a lucky punch because I don't believe in the "lucky punch" scenario. If you try and hit your opponent on the button and knock him down, it has nothing to do with luck. The fighter who threw that punch, was aiming at the chin of his opponent and due to good training and practice, he hit the button and knocked him out. Luck has nothing to do with it! Mayweather, has a lot to gain but also huge to lose as well. If he wins, he beats Marciano's record and will be the first ever fighter to reach 50-0, that is huge and an amazing legacy to leave behind! Plus he will have earned more than 100 million in the process. Yes I know Mayweather speaks a lot about money and lucrative paydays. But I'm pretty sure him accepting this fight is more about having the chance to get the 50-0 status. From his (Mayweather) point of view, this is the easiest path to that status since Conor has never had a real professional boxing match. But Mayweather is risking a lot at the same time, he's risking his "undefeated" status and him tying Marciano's record and retiring undefeated is a huge, humongous risk! Especially since we all know that Mayweather doesn't need the money, so my hat's off to him for being willing to risk losing his undefeated status/record while also being the best paid boxer ever.. The pressure and risk is definitely on Mayweather's side, he's taking a huge risk no matter what his paycheck ends up being. As for Conor, if he loses, people will say well he fought the best P4P boxer of our era, so it's no surprise and doesn't reflect poorly on him (like it was in a sense kind of expected). He is still a UFC champ and also as of this time, he is still the only UFC fighter who held two belts in different weight class simultaneously. And will also hold the record as the UFC figther with the highest paydays. His legacy is set in stone no matter what happens in this fight with Mayweather. So no matter what happens, it's a win win scenario for Conor and will set the bar very high for any and all present and upcoming UFC fighters.

I don't think a short 40 year old pro-boxing with an injured shoulder is comparable to a 28 year old Karate style striker in his prime. This is a very different fight. I'm interested in seeing if Floyd can time the punches of a guy who throws punches in a way which pro-boxers are told is incorrect.

That's were they get you. When they say anything is possible. As you can see now, it was never possible.

I wouldn't pay a dime to watch this. I might watch the highlights, by accident
