There was something majorly off about that scuffle, I wouldn't even call it a fight. At least one, most likely all, of Tenshin's downs appeared extremely peculiar. The first down appeared to be a trip over his own feet, and it didn't look like a power punch punch was delivered, nor did it fully connect. I vowed to never watch a live boxing match again after chipping in for the Pay-Per-View event with Manny Pacquiao. There were seven of us that night, 4 of which were die hard money team fans. After the decision was called that Floyd won on points, solely on the basis power percentage... Nobody in the house was happy or proud of the result. In fact, we went back and watched highlights for maybe two and a half to three hours post fight, with All of us keeping a loose count. Even when considering most of Mayweather punches as actual power punches, it wasn't even close to a draw let alone a win. Boxing needs to be fundamentally overhauled as far as the promoting & business end, especially judging and scoring. Maybe to the point of Judges not being chosen until the morning of the fight... Just one idea. I realize this was just an exhibition, but even events like this should be strictly governed and fair for people paying money.

Boxers take way more damage than MMA fighters because of the constant blunt force trauma to their brains. Listen to a retired mma fighter and a retired boxer talk and you’ll know what I’m talking about. There’s also more recorded deaths in boxing than their is in MMA. MMA however, is a more efficient and realistic combat sport. With all that said, these MMA fighters need to find someone else to hate because it’s too many of them on Floyd’s nut sack.

I think alot of things will get lost in translation along the way, some by mistake and some on purpose. Mark Kerr comes to mind, his first loss came in Japan as a result of a knee to the head while grounded, the organizers clearly stated at the beginning of the fight that this was illegal, but he still got eliminated from the tournament and suffered the feeling of a loss for the first time, it has since been changed to a no contest but that “defeat” psychologically fucked him up
