Following Dragweek in America, Benny’s 9 Second Cresta docked in at Sydney where he is less than impressed to find it was damaged in transit.
Mechanical Stig then prepares the car for the track & we hit Sydney Dragway and Powercruise!

Wilwood is always very helpful with torque specs when I have emailed them.
Sumps should come with that intermediate threaded fitting from factory for just that reason.

Paint can lids trick is good. Try using a muffin tray from thrift store for bigger projects

After having measured literally thousands of brake rotors at work for import compliance checks I've found normally the taper on the circumference of the outside edge 12:53 when checked is indicative of the max/min measurement that's stamped on as it is often not easily legible when weathered and aged, I can only assume those Wilwood rotors would be the same.

id say a handful of gtr,s (wargtr etc), the vl comodore guys would be at the top. Id hazard the guess it wasn't the quickest X chassis there also.

how does the falcon ute go for towing? ive got a turbo manual sedan that I was thinking of using but not sure how it would go.
Hey Benny loving the channel. question for you, i understand brake pads and rotors are consumable items with regards to new car warranties. but with my Triton with 40000k the rotors warped and was told they are not covered and that i should learn to drive. my argument is that they are designed to wear not warp and should be covered under warranty, i lost. your thoughts?

Darryl Baxter excessive braking / towing can cause brake discs to warp , 40000 km isnt really unreasonable for a commercial vehicle
Benny, have you thought about replacing your sump cap with a tap? No more stripping threads, just turn the tap to dump the oil

This has been the best video on your new channel so far. MCM, MCM2, and Skid Factory all have a common element of chemistry between two or more people that make those videos really enjoyable to watch. Being the sole presenter and having a very dry tone on your own, your videos have been monotone up to this point. I'd love to see someone else in the shop with you on future builds.
