Following the success of the 'Cresta vs Dragweek' series on MCMTV2, we decided to launch our very own channel!
Benny (aka: Mechanical Stig) is followed around by his camera man, producing quality car content not to be missed by anyone apart from maybe your grandma.
We're really excited to showcase what we do day to day at BCW, well the exciting stuff anyway. Throw a subscribe our way to follow along on our automotive adventures!

A whole saw the drills a part of a hole……. You guys crack me up, proper double act. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 You need to keep this going as a running gag for a few weeks, not weaks 😉
The tripod is Italian so it’ll be metric
The things to replace the bolts for the drop down legs are called clamping lever with external thread. You can disengage them to position the lever. If your brake plan doesn't work out, I for Williams sell hubs with drum brakes which probably fit that axle as a bolt on part. Great video, really enjoy this sort of stuff!
As long as you don't have a sore hole
Punch a hole in the old oil filter to drain it neatly before you spin it off.
If you put a drawer hanging from the top and the fuel cans under the tubs hanging from the top.
Isle 11 at Mittagong Bunnings for the "Richmond Hand Bolt" (tripod style bolt). You can also get abit of angle and rivet it to the open tabs and you can just push down on it and slide the draws out 👍
Cool if you could hinge the roof with gas struts, then you could definitely maximize roof space storage with easy access
I's ditch those light clusters as well. I had them on my trailer and they were the bane of my life. Hit a bump and at least one of the bulbs moves and no longer makes contact. There's an LED cluster of the same size and shape which I fitted and has been faultless.
please get a new camera man, he hurts my brain.
The "headboard" that you deleted....perhaps you could add the to the back, stabilizing legs as you have done, piano hinge to join it...basically a tailgate, a work platform, somewhere to bolt a vice onto. It low but its a flat space to work?
30:00 in bunnings have knobs, got a vise to bolt on platform?
Every time I hear that animal, whatever it is, my first thought is that it's just Marty and Moog talking shit outside.
When them wholesaws clog up put it in reverse and it cleans the teeth 👍🏻
Another Great Episode. Love the Banter.
Getting Donny and Clarence show vibes 🤣
Great work and plans, love the drag drive trailers. Chit chat with Gian FTW
Great work
Agree with your sentiments on hammerbarn
what is hammerbarn?
@@ehiebert1297 It's a fictional store in an Australian cartoon series but Bunnings (big box diy chain) rebranded some of their stores to match in a joint promotion.
The American aftermarket parts that don’t fit is because the cars they are made for are crap
Now it just needs a solar panel on the roof, and a battery or 2 so you can put in some work lights and a small compressor/air tank.
It's a whole sore.
Never thought about making a slide out to simplify getting to things, i was going to build a trailer that the roof raised about 3’ with 3 of the sides will lift off….slide out floor will be lighter and more simple. Just cant if its a whole floor or a hole floor😂😂
8second quarter mile Cresta (Japanese Camry)
Gian has a whole in his head. Or his head isn't hole. One of the two. 🤣
Thumb screw. 👍
may i ask whats the upkeep like annually and is hard to get parts if i wanted this as a daily driver?
Space guards may just need a flame job. Did that to my plastic Ozito lawnmover and it's way faster now. I bet they were designed by a retired British aircraft engineer and save 5p per mile in fuel so should do it just to offend him. 👍
Just to let you know the slide comes apart so you can attach it to your tray.
Now curious which American company is dodging shade haha
Dig watching trailers
7:35 Oh brother, its not really tolerance when you don't have a choice. I'm not going to crap up your comments with the political why's but its straight up: "bend over and get ready for what we say you can buy". The people running our country flood our markets with absolute trash chinese made products that have near zero standards of manufacturing. Then you end up paying 5$ for trash part that should cost 20$. This in turn drives up the quality part prices up further to 25$-30$. And then those quality manufacturers go out of business because they cannot compete with the prices and thus you end up with even MORE chinesium trash.
Lot off room on the roof of the trailer that could be used
Racks are coming, I’m getting some plates laser cut
Wing nuts are what you want 😊
I think I already saw a comment about wing bolts but can't find it now. Speaking of holesaws, crazy how there's a drill for making steps (not used in this episode)
Make a barn door then support-stays or a half door big enough to let you get your shoulders in
Finally some Bennys custom works instead of Bennys racecar maintenance. 😂 although both very entertaining
28:00 well I'm glad that whole thing is finally sorted..
Was the coach a Chinese six like in the Italian Job?
The trailer came out really nice, great banter! What’s a whole sar? 😂
I've just realised how to stop looking weird talking to myself in the shed (like @11:50) - I'll just stick a camera somewhere nearby, tell everyone I'm a youtuber :p
It’s done me wonders :D
@28:32 & The rest before that, fricken ADHD Things ha ha, some words are weird looking or sounding in different contexts. Even more so currently. Enjoyable video, cheers.
35:19 In keeping with space theme I feel Benny humor would be to wrap trailer in ARSE livery.
Benny a set of nissan 910 bluebird front discs and calipers are small the discs are like 12mm thick they most likely will do the job cheers from broken hill
Thanks mate, I have n13 pulsar rear discs atm thatI’m trying to work with
Thumbscrews. Pretty sure the Manfrotto tripod uses metric....Except for the 1/4-20 mount for the camera/device. Love the banter!
Hofstadter's Law: It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.
Yup, perennial problem with estimating timing on engineering projects.
he prolly meant pocket holes like for cabinet hinges 😂
You can get bolts with knobs on the end at Hammerbarn.
Nice one bois.
For transport can you flip the wheels to get a better offset to fit in the ram tub?
They’re zero offset :D I did look at that
Using an Ozito metal cut off saw most likely purchased from Hammer Barn
