Ive been doing automotive stuff for near 30 years and I still hafta say I have learned more from your vids than anywhere else on the 'tube'. I haven't worked in a professional shop in 20 yrs but some of the tool choices you have are alien to me... like brake clean in a pump bottle?!
@BennysCustomWorks

Brake clean in in pump is way cheaper, 20L is approx $100 Aud. It’s about 1/4 of the price of pressure pack

It’s just lacquer thinner. He’s using a solvent pump bottle.

@@drewski5730 no, it’s literally brake cleaner, in a purpose made brake cleaner pump bottle.

@@BennysCustomWorks fair enough, it’s not far from the CxHx chain though. We used lacquer thinner in the same way in high school (or paint thinner), to the same effect, and it was cheaper than brake cleaner proper.

@@BennysCustomWorks I dunno if is an option here in the states but its definitely something i want to convert to. 5 bucks a can at a parts store or a little elbow grease and a pump up bottle... i'd love to do it your way!
I can relate to keeping it 19 years to throw it before needing it.

Had that happen this week.
It looks fkn awesome brother, what a difference. Agreed on the grey for the flare to body rubber. Top bloody work there.

Big fan from Germany here. Absolutely love your work and all the tips you're sharing. A tiny warning from a material scientist: If you use raw (= unpainted) carbon fibre reinforced plastics you have to be careful with corrosion. The carbon is actually pretty noble compared to steel and highly conductive. So whenever exposed carbon fibres meet somewhat exposed steel (or raw aluminum or zinc aso.) there's a chance you'll run into problems down the road. It's something most people aren't aware of because they think of plastics as inert. And while that is true for glass fibre reinforced plastics, it's sadly not so easy when it comes to CFRP. That's also the main reason why most contact surfaces of multi-material chassis like the BMW i8 are glued instead of screwed: It electrically isolates the parts from one another...

@@BennysCustomWorks Don't mention it. I'm glad I could contribute something useful after all the stuff I learnt from you. I'm not even sure if it will become a problem as it depends on several factors (if there is exposed carbon, how the bolt and the CFRP washer interact, ...) I would just encourage you to look at the bolts from time to time which you would probably do anyway as they are easily observable. It is more important to keep in mind for hidden application where the damage might already be substantial when you notice it. Anyway, great video as always!
Looks mint! I’ve loved watching this Pajero series so far. Makes me want to get another one! Keep up the awesome content!
Never been a fan of Chrome but this looks Great. Quality job and results as always.

Try the Sakura paint pens from Japan, the gold and silver are very nice, and leave a nice finish without pores. Layering is easy and you can build up a layer to hide imperfections. I use them on my gold and silver enkei 92s.

Sharp !
Lookin' great Benny !! The red mud flaps/splash guards are a bit bright. Maybe a more subtle color would look better?

Excellent work as always. Even though I don't like this car I have to reluctantly admit that the bodywork you did makes it look totally schmick. Happy New Year!
Should get ya self a v6 Swb gen 2 Pajero, Manual! Like to see you up your touch on that, and they go great off-road, underrated by you ozzys 😂 popular here in nz

Flares. There can never be enough fender flares.
You scared me with that thumbnail. Cannot stand the trend of those exposed rivet/bolt on flares.
