@David-xl8zf

If you wanna do a 20b right you´re sure as hell manufacturing it on your own. Pac does it, but people gotta get paid somehow. Apart from that I´m sad rotarys have dissappeared because someone somewhere paid a lot of money to declare it obsolete. If they got as much research as modern day engines, shush. Modern materials and coating technologies make "zero" wear bearings and cranks, put that into a rotary one day, you´ll have the most efficient engine ever. Look at the new Fiesta ST, 150kW out of a 1.5L three cylinder. That´s essentially a turboed 13b in piston form.

I like watching skid factory and this channel as seperate channels, but when they collab like this the results are awesome. Same with mcm too when you work with them.

@@DougShinstrom Same! I actually went back and re-watched the smoking trailer bit a 2nd and 3rd time and was thinking, no way that's just the car exhaust coming out under the trailer for all of that turn, what the heck is it? But I failed to make the connection when they showed the extinguisher mess later in the video, thanks @Laz Arus for connecting that...

No need to thank us for watching mate, it's been a great journey. Loving the 'behind the scenes' feel of this episode; where the real magic happens. Simply a great bunch of friends that everyone dreams of having, doing extraordinary things that we all dream of doing.
Amazing job, thank you for sharing your teams adventure.
Right as I crack a beer open. Legend!
Well done representing Australia fellas.. fantastic watch and definitely on the bucket list to do drag week now
What a massive effort you all put in, thankyou so much for sharing your adventures with us
Thanks for bringing the adventure to us and videoing it so we can see it ,
Epic week guys! Glad I can watch you overcome and conquer!
This years Drag Week series of video's have been awesome and what a great result at the end of the week to run third in class and to everyone involved you all smashed it out of the park with your shear determination to succeed and all the American guys who pitched in and helped you are awesome you guys deserve a mass high five and a huge thank you.
Epic!! So cool to see good mates having fun!!
Thanks for making the trip here to the states to support Drag Week! Unbelievable effort and dedication. How did y'all enjoy east coast traffic lol?! I live by Budds Creek, and we actually did a track rental at VMP the days between Drag Week with the PPEI diesel pro mod. Watched everyone roll out and then roll back in. You guys even got to enjoy the 301 bridge going from Maryland to Virginia, probably in traffic coming back to VA! Congrats on making it thru guys!! 🤙
Bennys left handed, what a mad dog!
Great adventure. It's been a pleasure to watch.

A bummer for sure, it’s clearly safe enough to pass tech in both countries, but I would’ve thought they’d be all over this. I have often wondered how many of the Skid Factory/MCM cars are actually engineered? Many of them should be but there zero mention of it. I would’ve hoped for more given this thing is a commercial exercise after all.
Great series guys, I can't appreciate all the work, time and cost, but Benny giving credit where due is most humbling. Woody is getting his interview skills honed. Thanks for sharing.
Put simply, this was absolutely sh!t hot. Thanks to all of you for such a ripper production.
The shipping box for the engines...i'm stealing that idea. In the past, i used waterjet cut wood laminate to encase the stuff i shipped. This looks much simpler to make.
Top form Benny and crew, excellent effort as always....cya next year :)
Wicked series all round!
Awesome series guys, keen for the next one.
Congrats fellas, for another successful Drag Week. Thanks for the production and taking us along for the ride, much enjoyed! That said, my day job is shipping, so this felt a lot like work haha.

These series, both this year and lasts have inspired me to build a car to do this. #3yearplan.
Thanks for this bit of info, the removing the heads bit. I keep telling people that's the only way you can import them, and either get called a liar or told I am wrong. It's nice I can point to this video in the future. Also for the record we do import Barras into the states and we do them legally. You need to remove the heads, and supposed to be imported in two separate containers. Like head in one block in another. People who import complete engines run the risk of having them seized, possibly fined. We have some already in the states and we take deposits on them as well if it's something we don't already have here.
Awesome. Sad it hade to come to a end. I hope you will do DW 2020🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Damn, having the constables nab you like that! I hadn't realized how tough Oz motor vehicle law was- I am on a couple of forums for "Locost Sevens, several of out regulars are "Stralians who regale us with stories about the engineering tests to prove the bare frame before you even begin to assemble the car- but I didn't think it would be that tough with a car starting with a factory built chassis- sheeeesh! Can't wait for your next adventure- have popcorn, will wait!FR
Seeing you at the MCM day was awesome! You’re a legend

The skid factory need to have a car next year!
When you drove off heading for Charleston, you could see smoke or dust coming from the trailer. Probably the extinguisher
they probably didn't use 30e's in japan because of their displacement, put a 20e in one and get cheaper rego

Best packing video ever! Loved the whole drag week series! What’s happening with the mustang? Going back to Australia?
nices work bro
Destroke the windsor with a 289 crank and use longer rods. You can build an absolute screamer that way. The rods, bolts, caps and bearings will thank you for it as well.
Benny i just seen a post on FB from the NSW cops ( and it sure looks like the Cresta?!?) saying they red stickered a cressida fitted with a turbo barra/mod 9 inch rear......
Thanks for the coverage of Drag week . I’ve enjoyed it ! It was very poor form to get pinged back on Aussie soil with your car !! You didn’t deserve that !
Ships it home "Immediately defected"
They should have released the Barra engine in the USA. Seems like it's a beast.
Dropping a valve. This can happen when an engine is over revved, a valve lightly contacts the piston and the head bends slightly. As the engine continues to run, the head of the valve hits the seat causing it to bend back into position. This constant cycle fatigues the valve head to stem causing it to snap off. BMW 6 guys have this problem.
Kyle's, Chads idk, we know better either way bro.
Did the Chevy's cargo bed even notice that 1ton package... Would have loved to see the suspension travel...
Well Drag Challenge has been and gone but I'm assuming the Cresta is floating somewhere in the Pacific...

Benny, I think you and the boyz from Hot Rod Garage should get together for a race next year (assuming you're coming to Drag Week next year) if they have their 4200 Vortec in a car. #betterbarra
Chads, bro.
Would be good to see you take a FG next year so the Americans know what car the Barra is from and can see it in person
This might have already been covered but what is happening to the mustang? Crated also or staying in the states? Loved the series!
When are the ‘ Cresta Red Label Edition’ shirts on sale ?
You've got to prepay because of all the bilking (gas theft) that's been going on. It's so rampant in some areas the cops have just stopped responding to gas theft calls.
"Bro" is used by many groups. I use it when addressing my best buddies.
Damn🤘🏼 the videos you doing for us👌🏼😎 🇸🇪👀 jävlar alltså!!! As we say over here😉
Silly question but did Benny do all the driving in the US between tracks or did you guys share the responsibility?
You guys totally look like a flight crew in those headsets. :)
Great series and adventure Benny. It must be different on the east coast or something... In the pacific NW we have had pay at the pump with a card for decades. Swipe, fill, leave. Unless you are paying with cash. That's a different story.
