I enjoyed your video, I too am in MA and own the Calif. edition Seecamp LWS32, It is truly a "work of art" I love mine, reliable, easy to conceal, and once you get used to it surprisingly accurate! :) again... Nice video! Thanks for putting it together! :)

This is a finely crafted work of art. And you won't believe the size. It's one gun you will literally always always be able to carry with you. In complete concealment in your pocket. Nobody could possibly know you're carrying it (legally). Highly recommended in 32. Super light shooter.

Wow, what a truly great idea! I own a Seecamp & love it but would love to see it offered in 5.7x28 as well! We were just talking about the fact that no one makes a sub compact/mouse gun in 5.7. The FN Five-Seven pistol is a great gun but it is fairly large, I think Seecamp would make a fortune offering such a gun... it would probably hold about 10 or 12 rds to boot, in such a small package.

I have the .380 and like it a lot. I am not excited over these very small calibers, but on days that it must be very very deep and hidden this is the one I carry. It is also my EDC in my PJ's. It will get me to one of the other 100 guns stashed throughout the house.

I agree, Seecamp is the best mouse gun you can buy. Hate the magazine disconnect but it doesn't take away from how great this firearm is. Well build, solid & extremely reliable. Love to see it in 5.7X28! Good news is that when I contacted Seecamp, He said that he has been considering the idea, feels it is a good defensive cartridge but due to machinery & manpower issues involved, it will be a project far down the road. If you would also like it in 5.7 option, please contact him as well. Thanks

What a gorgeous little pistol. As nice as I've seen of it's type. Decentsize round it takes, too. I would of thought at first glance it was a .22 LR, or one of those useless .25 caliber mouse guns. .32 or .38, now yer talkin' !

I think you did a great review, it was very informative and I really enjoyed the history of the Seecamp Company. I went on the website and it gave some great information and statistics regarding shooting without sights. The fit and finish of the gun looks excellent. Forgive me for being presumptuous, but you said Mr. Seecamp was saved by a .32 Walther, on the site is says he was saved by a Walther P-38 which is 9mm. either way I'm glad he could save his life.

Lehigh Ammo is the best for carry especially in 32 acp! Lehigh extreme cavitator that creates a wound cavity that rivals any 9mm and penetrates 17” in ballistic gel. This pistol is 6+1 capacity like any single stack concealment pistol!

One thing that I think is worth mentioning is that the goal of an individual protecting themselves is the exact opposite of law enforcement. If a police officer shoots a suspect, and the suspect is wounded but runs away, that is a failure. If a citizen being attacked shoots the attacker and he runs away, that is a success. The goal of concealed carry for an individual is for the attacker to break off their attack and go away. My goal is never to kill or permanently harm another, but only to protect myself or protect the innocent.

Wehrmacht veteran and WW2 survivor, Ludwig Seecamp, perceptibly surmised that traditional .32 ACP semi-automatic pistols were over-built for the size and strength of the diminutive cartridge. .32 ACP pistols of the 1920s, 30s and 40s could have chambered the .380 ACP (9mm Kurz) or even the 9mm Parabellum cartridge due to their size. Ludwig presumed the reason was likely ergonomics. The .32 ACP pistols had been designed to comfortably fit the adult male human hand, allowing for a firm strong grip. But as a result, the .32 ACP pistols of the time were unnecessarily large. Ludwig was certain the .32 ACP could chamber safely in a much smaller pistol. He suspected the .32 ACP could chamber in pocket pistols manufactured for the even smaller and weaker .25 ACP. Ludwig Seecamp proved his hypothesis with the .25 ACP Seecamp semi-automatic pistol already in production since 1981. In 1985, Ludwig manufactured the same Seecamp pocket pistol for the .32 ACP cartridge and it worked. The .32 ACP Seecamp was an instant success. The .32 Seecamp immediately incurred high praise and with it high demand. Seecamp would disappoint many prospective buyers. His Seecamp gun manufacturing company hand-crafted each pistol from a team of seven master gunsmiths. Monthly output was only a low 200 .32 Seecamps. A few years later, acquisition of several CNC machines boosted monthly production to 500 pistols but it still was not enough. For the next decades the Seecamp pistol had a reputation of a successful, diminutive pocket pistol of super high quality but was difficult to acquire due to its scarcity. Decades after the elderly Ludwig passed on, his aging ailing son, Larry, had the foresight to sell the company to Whalley Precision Manufacturing in Southwick, Massachusetts, thereby assuring the survival and continuity of the Seecamp pistol line. Larry would pass away in 2018 after a long, productive life as his father. Whalley Precision was able to increase monthly production while maintaining the traditional high quality. In 2021-22 Seecamp pistols began appearing in more frequency throughout many more gun stores. In December 2022, perceiving a renewed interest in the .25 ACP pocket pistol, Whalley Precision announced the company would once again manufacture its original .25 ACP Seecamp pistol. Whalley first needed to find a manufacturer for the .25 ACP pistol magazines.

Great video, I can't wait to pick my "California Edition" up in a couple of days. I'm not fond of our gun laws or waiting periods, but your video helped me decide to get one of these. Larry Ludwig could have yet designed a shallow trough channel on the top of the .32 Seecamp pistol, thus allowing a rudimentary sight picture for traditionalists who insist upon some kind of sight. This would have worked while still keeping a clean pistol profile to prevent snagging in the pocket. But Ludwig was adamant about no sights on the Seecamp pistol.

@GhostStan I agree with the simpler is better philosophy. Unfortunately. the safety is a state law thing. I just leave it off. It is pretty much out of the way, dosent affect anything. The mag disconnect makes sense for this particular gun. Now for a combat pistol, I would not want a disconnect.

What do people think of the Seecamp LWS being available in 9x19? I think they should offer it, because I was told that it is an easily available caliber, very common, as well as a very well rounded caliber. On Seecamp's website it says it was also the caliber that saved Mr. Seecamp's life. I just hope if Seecamp creates a 9mm version, it doesn't cost anywhere near what the Rohrbaugh R9 costs.

Do you need to get the right ammunition for reliable feeding from the magazine and consistent accuracy? My dad told me that the ammunition you dial your scope in at the range should be the same ammunition that you hunt with. (My dad hunts with rifles and shotguns).
