    Your vid was right on target, especially when I needed help double checking re-assemby of trigger safety, trigger plate, connecting spring - particularly exactly how the little arm of the spring fits into the trigger safety, then the side plate. Thank you for the closeups!

    This was VERY helpful, thanks for posting this. I picked up my Seecamp today. I have bookmarked your video for future reference. As GuyLivingOffGrid said, this is one of the best videos on this subject on KZread.

    Just did mine and polished the hammer strut tip to the main spring cup like a mirror finish. Smooth!

    I'm at times slow on the uptake therefore I'll watch this video 4-5 times at least and then I'll be ready for a "take down" very well presented thanks Al

    Very peculiar design. It reminds me of the vest pocket carry pistols of yesteryear. This thing belongs in a museum.

    Thank you for this video. I like to think I'll be getting a Seecamp .32 soon, and this is extremely useful. Much appreciated.

    Absolutely love my little California Edition LW Seecamp .32ACP. (Difference is the safety not included on the regular model. Bought it used (very little) because I like the compactness & the customization done to it. Has beautiful engraving all over the slide with Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield logos etc., plus on left grip a dime sized circle was cut out & a H-D bar & shield insignia was inserted like it was meant to be there all along. I bought 2 more magazines, (1 I recently added a nicely milled aluminum finger extension from a guy on eBay) & a "Covert Carrier" belt clip to right grip side for a very concealable inside waistband carry, (I'm a lefty though).Came with beautiful custom black leather & silver tooling holster (right) & I've purchased a couple more tooled leather ones (LEFT). Really enjoy taking it out occasionally but increasingly harder to find ammo. They really do recommend you use only Winchester Silver tip ammo & it never failed me. Only fired about 100 rounds & now I have a problem. The TRIGGER actually broke off, & the safety half moon, & spring type retainer are lost. Hoping to contact Seecamp to order another trigger, safety & spring, but three different gunsmiths have never worked on them & I'm not about to let inexperience kill my enthusiasm for this great little gun. Any advice or ideas??? BTW, Great video on take down but I would rather leave this one to the experts. Don't want to take the chance of sending it ($$$), losing it, USPS, UPS, FEDEX to Seecamp if I find I can do it, or find a knowledgeable gunsmith within a 50 mile radius. I live in the boonies of Central Calif by Yosemite.

    Saw a used Gen 2 Glock 19 at the gun shop yesterday, thought of you bud. Almost walked out with a FNP-45, almost. Then again I also almost walked out with a Browning Hi Power, Sig 229 and a CZ75B. Sometimes I wish I wasnt so responsible.

    That is one good looking weapon. Could you talk some more about it? Kind of an overview of you like about it, and perhaps a short comparo justifying it against less expensive offerings from taurus, Kel Tec, Ruger, etc

    Very interesting video! A lot of people nowadays discount the usefulness of small caliber pocket pistols. A .32 is more than enough firepower to get you out of a bad situation.

    you forgot the most important step to to soak the whole gun in ballistol just joking good informative video thanks and .32 is a great self defense round dont know why some people on youtube will only want to carry a .40 or .45 nothing wrong with .32 .380 or 9mm

  • @johniac7078

    @bonesoncampus DUDE!!! I am telling you ll those guns are only list too.....I know the whole idea of sticking with one gun but the browning, Sig and CZ are just so sweet, not to mention the G19. I am looking for an antique Hi-Power. I am also very intrigued by the CZ, it seems sweet. I may have to start a quest for a Shadow.....too heavy for IDPA but would be great for USPSA production.

  • @bonesoncampus
    @bonesoncampus12 жыл бұрын

    @johniac7078 The CZ site says 2 lbs 7 ounces (with 18 round sp01 mag). It also says IDPA approved (SSP legal). The rulebook says 39 ounces with an empty mag for SSP so it just barely makes it. I have heard people argue where the CZ goes, SSP or ESP. Because you can carry it cocked and locked on some and others have a decocker but I dont think the CZ75 can do both. I dont want to drop the hammer on a live round with just my thumb every stage. I still want one.

  • @johniac7078
    @johniac707812 жыл бұрын

    @bonesoncampus but isn't it weight with mag?

  • @bonesoncampus
    @bonesoncampus12 жыл бұрын

    @johniac7078 The CZ shadow is only 39 oz. I cant decide if I want the Shadow or Shadow T or just a 75/85. I hear that the HI-powers now have a mag safety that screws up the trigger pull. The FN was 1/8" too long because of the mag baseplate corner. A local SO said they wouldnt care about that and I wonder if I could just dremel it off to fit in the box (according to the rules). Too many choices and not enough money.

    Do you know if this pistol will function without the magazine disconnect?

  • @nobodysreview6137

    @nobodysreview6137

    5 жыл бұрын

    The magazine disconect isnt in there 4 what people think, the magazine is a wall to hold the trigger spring, when the mag is out the gun is not complete and not strong enough to work properly without it. the trigger spring would be damaged without the magazine there to support it so the mag disconect makes it so the pistol wont get damaged by the trigger being pulled without the mag in place to support the spring. If it was a bigger gun it would b a terrible design but since this is the smallest semi auto its a neat design.
