Seecamp .25 ACP

Here's a video featuring the newest addition to the arsenal, as well as my new EDC piece. The LWS25 is a high quality, well crafted pocket pistol. In the video I share the details of how I came across this little beauty!

The Seecamp .25 ACP, Bauer/Fraser .25 ACP and Browning .25 ACP 'Baby Browning' are little jewels of pistols and represent the high end of .25 ACP pocket pistols in my opinion.

I got one of these in .32 ACP several months ago. I absolutely love it. So long as you use the ammo recommended by the manufacturer on their website, it runs like a Swiss watch. I have the exact same holster that you show in your video, and it's a GREAT holster! If you like front pocket carry, you might also like the Don Hume holster, which is also excellent. Great video, thanks for posting!

Nice little pocket pistol, I been carrying a Tanfoglio GT27 25ACP for over 35 years, it's like you don't even notice it or does anyone else, these were made for close range and the 25ACP work better with FMJ for penetration!

I think it's a good choice. You're more likely to always have it on you and the cool factor is off the charts, so why not! I'm a little biased though... While I don't have a Seecamp, I do have a number of .25acp pocket pistols.

I just bought one one in 32 acp. I also have the same holster. Smaller than my wallet was. I use a money clip now and keep my wallet in my bag. Took it to the range shot 75 rounds now issues. I was able to keep every shot inside 10 inches at 7 yards most inside 6 inches. I think this is the best of the best in concealment. It's on me now where is your gun.

No issue dry firing any Seecamp. Many fans have what is known as the trifecta, one or more in each caliber. The .380 is my very favorite EDC. Early .25’s had issues due to the recoil spring and when Larry was owner he’d fix the .25 for free. There is a Seecamp forum that is very informative and of course the new owners answer all your questions. Glad to see you bought one and really love it. I think you should save up and get a LWS 32 next.

  • @thomasmoje5926

I had a chance to buy one of these; but right next to it in the same display cabinet was a Ruger LCP .380. The Seecamp was way more expensive and in .25 ACP caliber vs. the Ruger in .380 ACP for significantly less money. The choice was a no brainer I ended up with the Ruger but that little Seecamp sure was a nice well made pistol. No regrets the Ruger LCP is an ideal concealed carry pistol.

Only 5,000 of the .25 acp version were manufactured by LWS Seecamp between 1981 and 1985. In 1985 Seecamp discontinued the .25 acp in favor ot the .32 acp. This means the owner not only possesses a collector's pistol, it is a heirloom. He should never sell or trade away his .25acp Seecamp.

I believe the new owners of Seecamp have reintroduced the .25 in their production lineup. I own a .Seecamp 380 and .32, but have no interest in the .25. Just too anemic for me. However, it would still be a nice collectible piece.

@@buffaque32 The first generation Seacamp .25's were discontinued very soon after being put out for sale with a flaw in the design that caused severe slide cracking after a very low round count. Recoil system was the cause and Seacamp will not repair them or sell any parts for repairs if yours is cracked. Only option is TIG welding and re cutting by a smith or metal worker. Extra mags are also nearly vapor ware rare now also. Seacamp no longer makes them and has no plans to do so...

No, your Beretta can get you out of about 98.9% bad situations...there are ZERO guarantees, whether you are carrying .25acp or .45acp...we also own a Beretta .25acp, and we believe it works just fine for 98.9% of problems...the other 1.1% of problems you might need some luck, but those scenarios might be too much if you are carrying a flamethrower...

Yes and no...if you obey rule #1 you have a gun, which automatically gives you a chance...if you shoot 1st, and hit 1st, your chance grows dramatically...sure, there are zero guarantees, but that also applies to the folks wielding hand cannons...in turn, they are outgunned by rifle toting people, who are outgunned by cannon toting people, and on and on...I don't have a finger on THE button, but I shouldn't give up, and neither should you...

These guns are faster to draw and shoot just as tight a group as a bigger size gun within 10 feet, I tested it againt my glock 27. get the 32acp. The designer of this gun was right, when your being atacked u need something on u that u can get too, a 5 shot revolver is great too but its big, this is the smallest semi auto and has the best trigger, again, i tested it against my bigger guns, 10 foot away is prob as far away as u would ever be if u had to shoot someone. I was able to draw and fir a 6 inch group faster then with my bigger guns, drawing from my pocket. I do carry a 5 shot revolver in my coat pocket but still have the Seecamp in my pant pocket if i take my coat off, which i do a lot of the time. This gun is actually better for drawing and shooting up close but if u ended up in a gun fight (which prob would never happen) it def wld be better to have a bigger gun as everyone already knows. The Seecamp with its smooth trigger is easier to shoot then a gritty trigger lcp, also the small polymer guns are more bulky around the trigger area and my trigger finger would hit the frame sometime and i couldnt fire a round since i couldnt pull the trigger all the way back. Ive been training pull from the pocket and shoot 10 ft away with the Seecamp. Get out there and train and practice and youll find out what works best, These "gurus" all over the internet dont know what they r talking about, im not saying im so smart, im saying train and youll find out what works best in a certain situation.

I do carry the .25 Seecamp on occasion, but mostly the .380, and of course the LWS .32 before the .380 came out, I never felt under gunned. I’ve owned Seecamp pistols for thirty years. Never any issues.
