In all seriousness there’s some beautiful instruments and playing on this.
Cannot wait until Manchester ♥️♥️♥️
Nothing short of amazing. I love how you incorporated several licks that Gilmour loves to play when performing Comfortably Numb live. Definitely one of, if not the best cover of the End Solo on KZread. Chapeaux!
The tone from that goldtop ES335 is to die for

The playing and editing are spot on!!! F'n Brilliant. I could listen to this over and over.
1958 Fender Stratocaster, 1964 Fender Mustang and 2011 Fender Telecaster '52 Hotrod 100% Rn'R. 🎶
I guess the point is that it's not about the guitar, but rather the player that plays it.
I saw you play this on the tour in Manchester on 27/11. Brilliant work. Can't wait to see you again in 2022.
Can't wait to see you play live again
wow.. that was amazing! great job in every way. blown away by how seamless you integrated all the different guitars in the mix for volume and tone..
Fantastic! I love all your guitar solo videos, it is always a pleasure to what a master at work! Hopefully I get to see you and the rest of the band in November.
That was freaking amazing.. Well done!
Absolutely outstanding. Take a bow. 👏
Loving this Dave. Great to see and hear you playing this iconic song on 32 of your guitars. Brilliant.
Absolutely superb Dave. This is my all time favourite work
Full body chills ❤️ you play absolutely beautifully. Seen you guys live numerous times
Just saw you'd posted this on the Facebook group......... absolutely superb & love seeing & hearing all the different guitars! Saw you guys twice this year in the UK & already booked in for next year.......can't wait 😁

Impressive.
Nice one Dave. Such a great solo but particularly when you play it - adding a level of richness that was lost (partially faded out I think) on the studio album… and breath-taking when played live by you at the Aussie Floyd concerts. Can’t wait for November (Hammersmith Eventim Apollo). 👍🏻👍🏻
Not too shabby!
Fantastic work Dave

@@domminney I must say that I was initially impressed, and after seeing Bob Klose's comment that you haven't even used half your guitars on this video I now downgrade that to a shoddy and lacklustre performance! 🤣 Seriously though, as impressive as the guitar work is, the actual work involved in producing the video and editing (not even including the calories burnt running up and down the stairs in the middle of the night) could be a video in it's own right, and considering the timeframe that's a staggering accomplishment.
Awesome bro.
Excellent stuff. Nicely played, as always. Some stunning guitars there David and it's a really useful side-by-side comparison of their tones. It also serves as a great reminder of how much of the tone is in the fingers (and fx/amps of course too) which makes me wonder how it might have sounded with a guitar at the other end of the spectrum like Squier, Epiphone or Pacifica.

I think the guitar is more about the feel and the sound is 99% in the pickup

@@domminney If you have a PRS in your collection, I'd love to hear it against the others. I recently bought my first electric, it came down to a Squier Telecaster Thinline 72 or a PRS SE Custom 22 semi-hollow and I went with the PRS. I adore it but can't play much yet. It's so interesting to hear them played by people who play well :)

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a more perfect cover of one of the most beautiful guitar solos of all time. Kudos! I’m also torn about which guitar sounds the best for the solo. I noticed with that the Gibsons are warmer and better suited for Blues. Fenders sound hotter and a bit more aggressive based on the fact that they’re single coil pickups.

If I was just listening to the audio for this I wouldn't notice most of the guitar changes. Am I just deaf or is there some trickery in the processing to get them to sound more alike?

They sound more different clean, and I learned a lot from doing this. I change my playing to get the sound I want which adds to making them sound similar. A dull guitar I pinch more and a bright guitar I hold back. Didn't realise I did that until this video!
Pentatonic boring crap..Just kidding !! AWESONE JOB, MY FRIEND !! but how can 32 different guitars all sound exactly the same?
