@@toby8261 Cheers mate. Well in this setup there was no setup, it was just straight into guitar rig 5 from what I remember. As for the playing... ha ha, up until the pandemic it was my job to do this, I'm crap at everything else :)

I have a Tele and thought there were parts I wouldn't be able to play because I don't have a tremolo. You certainly proved me wrong! I just need to keep practicing! Wonderful playing!

You really understood Gilmour's technique...Simply GREAT!

Wow! I looked at 3:49 and said “thank god I still have 2 minutes of this”. Bravo sir, BRAVO! Love the improve at the end. Like and sub from me. Never knew a tele could do some gilmour so well. I loved it. Now I gotta go pick up my tele lol.

Really nice, excellent job ! Reminds me of my favorite live versions by Gilmour...Allentown, in 1984 and Hammersmith, London, also in 1984...there is very good film of that one as well. Cheers !

:D , I saw your video on computerphile where you mentioned Pink Floyd, so I listened to them and the first song was Comfortably Numb ^^ (I closed my eyes and it was magic, I even saw my keyboard colored for a brief moment), then I spent all the night listening to them. Thanks.

No better version... period. I even had the pleasure of seeing it performed live last night in San Diego and I'm confident that no one else in the crowd caught the mis-step... yes people Mr. Domminney proved that he does make mistakes by almost skipping a section of the ending solo, but he (and his drummer) smoothed it out nearly flawlessly! I'm convinced that he was so wowed by the awesome crowd that he became engrossed in the moment and almost forgot where he was :) Truly epic performance by all and a show not to be missed... much respect to you and the entire band! I'd also like to say that perhaps I witnessed young love in the making... what became of the woman in blue and the note she gave you while you were shredding on stage?

Ha ha. The woman in blue gave me a guitar pick with Led Zep 2 written on it, as they are my friends I really didn't need it though...... As for the mistake I blame Bonney for that, he came in too early with the double time bit :) Thanks for the kind words

You might think you need that trem but the bending still does the job, Run Like Hell would also be an awesome sound on this tele I'm envious but seriously this video gets regular air time in this studio, really helps get people motivated to play their very best and don't fake it. Mistakes a yes good point on that statement,,, as my old muse teach used to say ' if you make a mistake that's fine but just do it with syle.'

What pickups you have in this tele? Marvelous playing!

If I only had 5 minutes left of my life, this is where I'd be. See you in Manchester and Blackburn in November hopefully David.

The backing track is my practice track that I use before Aussie Floyd tours. It's basically a band mix with my guitars muted. Unfortunately I cannot share it, sorry.

The pickups are Fender Vintage Series ones I think.... Best to ask Vinnie from Vinnie's Relic Guitars....
