As a 59yr old still learning!! I could not agree more, timing, feeling, expression, note for note perfect and oozing confidence. His playing is truly admirable!! It pains me to see 357 thumbs down, even if it is a small percentage of the number of views, it is simply wrong, if they did not enjoy it they did not need to watch, if they can find fault then they should have the decency to say so in comments!! No one minds constructive criticism, not that there is room or scope for that in this case. Where are the videos of these 357 people showing us how they could have done this better? It surprises me they managed to get their thumbs out their mouths long enough to hit dislike!! Oh to be as perfect as they must consider themselves!! They must love themselves more than only a mother could, I bet if they could kiss their own Ass, they would!!

However, it makes the same mistake in thinking that you have to be able to do something in order to appreciate it. In fact a non-guitarist could just as easily point out that your downward run is completely out of time. That being said, I'll see what I can do before too long.

I think its pre recorded and then videoed. But the timings so close so hard to tell. Most guitar vids are done this way now hence the doubt people are beginning to have wether its real or not. I want to say he’s playing it live but how clean it is it seems pre recorded. But hey he might have just had one of those magic runs on a good day we all have 🤷‍♂️

@@VeganStance no ones that clean. Every note is perfect and you can see where he hits certain strings but you dont hear it which means its had production after. Nothing wrong with it but i prefer raw. I like the little mistakes they sometimes lead to some awesome things. He can obviously play but not even gilmore sounds that good live and its his song.

@@crystllclr3743 He might have done some post editing but if you look closely, not much, if any. When you compare this to Gilmour's pulse live version, this is way cleaner. It might have took him quite a few shots though, while Gilmour only had one take. Check out Kingfish's Empty Promises in Nashville. You'll find zero mistakes in one of the best live solos of all times (and that's a live performance btw, not a bedroom recorded one).

The best cover, of the best version, of the best guitar solo in the history of music.

I’m 61 and have been a Floyd fan since the early 70’s and I must say this is absolutely the finest musicianship I’ve run across. Your cover of this epic solo is spot on. Some here have said this is second only to the original played by the master himself. However I feel it is absolutely on par and every bit as good as David’s original performance. As a fellow guitarist I applaud you !

At a certain time the solo sent a shiver on my spine, got a sense of awakening and I was looking around me. It was like to be in another place in the universe, and everything was different. Once the solo was over, I was back to the reality of my room with my phone in the palm of my hand. Suddenly I realized that even though I am no longer young still I can feel like a child who hears its first song. Thank you, guy for these rare sensations, and thank you for this amazing music!

I found this by simply browsing through youtube. I'm an original Pink Floyd fan and I was lucky enough to have been at the Pulse concert. The solo performed here was perfect. Every cover drops clanger and plays a bad note or two, not the case here. . . Just close your eyes and ride the tide, simply let the music do its magic

Playing correct notes is one thing, but you captured the flow, that euphoric, exhilarating feeling one gets when listening to "Comfortably Numb" solo, or many other times when we hear David Gilmour play. Ultimate aural ecstasy. Played bravely, without any hesitation, makes it even more convincing.

Hitting the translate button over and over shows me just how different English and Russian are. There is literally no correlation between words. If it were Spanish, it would be an almost word for word replacement between English and Spanish words. Russian is wildly different, with a completely different alphabet. Crazy to me.

This is the 70th time I am listening to this and still can not believe how good you are. This is beyond perfection and if you are a true pink floyd fan, you would notice the perfection. So many people try to cover but they massacre. The tone, bending, feelings, everything is top top level. You could wear a Gilmour mask and sell out arenas.

When talent was coming down in raindrops this guy was outside getting drenched. I teared up listening to this and I’m 61 years old and seen most things. Respect to you young man.

I have heard a lot of guitarist play this solo and in fairness they are all truly amazing. But listening to this, the one thing that this guy Andrey has over all others is his apparent ability to channel Dave Gilmore when playing this solo because I can honestly say I have never heard anyone so accurately emulate what I believe to be the greatest guitar solo of all time so masterfully. Pure Genius.

Только русский человек мог сказать "дух" ! Этим все сказано, мы все же чувствуем, по другому... Не знаю как, но по другому... !!!! А Андрей супер!!!!

I find it hard to believe anyone could come so close to the pulse solo. My first reaction was this is fake. I was at Earls Court in 94 and saw them with Syd in the mid 60s. Been a floyd fan for many years. This is by far the closest to the pulse 2nd solo you will hear.

I was there too and i totally agree with you 100%,i saw an interview with DG once and he said he plays it a bit different everytime he is on stage,but this guy knocks this version out the park. Respect👍

For the first time of my life, I can say that I completely fall in love with a guitar solo. As a Pink Floyd fan I would say that's impossible to do better than Gilmour but men... you've already did it. Thank you so much. You're a great great great Guitarist.

I probably watched a hundred cover’s of this song and I have to say that this guy is the closest thing that you are going to get to David Gilmour ❤❤❤❤❤

This is the only cover version that really nails it 100% here on KZread ... IF someone did it better it was maybe David Gilmour himself. Awesome work, Andrey and thanks for sharing.

ive seen 235 versions on you tube ( took me weeks ) this is by far the best outside of tutorials wwhich im pretty sure hell end up doing as well cos he has some neat tricks ,best version ive seen outside of the pink floyd family n thats a huge feather in his cap :)

Yes, one did it better with his own improvisation. I love it more than the original because this version is extended to minutes. Talking about Kfir Ochaion’s Comfortably Numb solo with the Cobra Blue Fender American Ultra HSS Stratocaster. Amazing improvisation of a true masterpiece by David Gilmour. :)

Caveman Protogonos yeah, but what i’m meaning is that, its extremely difficult to play continuously for 10 minutes straight, at-least for most of us. And also, i don’t know that much about David Gilmour’s songs as i just discovered him by this Comfortably Numb song, so I don’t know what his albums are. :)

Браво! "Комфортное онемение", особенно соло Гилмора не устану слушать никогда. А Вам- браво!!!!

Этот парень реально чувствует то, что играет. До мурашек вместе со мной. Охуительно и невероятно! Завидую, как ему хорошо во время исполнения. Медитации курят. Дай бог здоровья, долгих лет жизни, и пусть последнее когда будет покидать жизнь, это будут пальцы, исполняющие это. Дух станет музыкой.

Кто здесь, чтобы очередной раз 100ый раз послушать?)

I have yet to hear a better cover of my all-time favorite Comfortably Numb Pulse solo, and I have listened to literally all of them for over a decade. Congratulations!

Слушаю в машине Ваше соло. Годы идут -- а Андрей Королёв по-прежнему лучший! ) I`m usually enjoying Andrew`s marvelous Solo performance while driving. Through years this is the best cover/interpretaion/version etc.
