Prince did not write this. He took the rhythm and the sound created by Friedman, who learned from a Japanese masterpiece, and wrote some relics to it. All musicians take one another style and incorporate into their own.

Every chord, every phrase beautifully constructed and delivered with emotion and feeling. A masterwork like no other I've heard in my life since this songs birth onto this earth. Prince gave humanity a beautiful song that lives on. Beautiful music lives in a timeless realm of a shared reality. It's a tapestry unfinished. Woven and added to over generations. 'Purple rain' is one such tapestry. Jack added his beautiful strings of color and depth in a heartfelt way for many generations.

Old Chinese exclamation, "Ho Lee Chit!!" I am in my 70's. I was a grown ass man when the music and the concept of Purple Rain were introduced. In all those years, I have accumulated experiences and gained in what might be called wisdom. I can look anyone square in the face and say that Purple Rain is real. It lives with us and in us. This is really good but listen to Christone “ Kingfish “ Ingram’s version. Guarantee you think it’s the best you’ve ever heard. He’s a teenage Blues Prodigy. One of the best players you’ll ever hear. He’s famous now. The kid channels like Hendrix did. He could slow his ass off and has feel for days.

Just a thank you to you and this. I actually had my DJ use this for me to walk down to at my wedding as a tribute to my mother and our love for Prince.
