😢😅😅😅 When telling the truth bummed her out that badly, not only was she being honest, but she was only being truthful to save herself. Not because she wanted to do the right thing. Those tears made it clear. She knew he was a smoking heap of human excrement all along and was all in the whole way. I remember her vigorously defending his brutal treatment of asylum seeking people coming to the border, including the separation of families.. even after people, including children, had died in custody, families were separated without anyone keeping track of where they were sent. There was no remorse in her at all, and she knew what kind of person she was working for and kept chugging along with the program. She actually apologized to him for not lying more in court.
