The ICC is pushing Israel's version of events into Oct 7th. He failed to mention that the IDF opened fire from an Apache helicopter at cars leaving the kabutz thereby killing their own civilians. Not to mention firing from tanks. The ICC investigation is only half truthful. Once soldiers revert to civilian life/jobs they are no longer legally considered combatants. Unarmed Israeli reservists who have NOT been called up would be considered civilians and protected peoples, whereas those who have been actively called up would be considered legal combatants.

Despite everything, there are too many leaders who are not fit to serve in any position of authority. To my understanding, ICC prosecutors did not equate crimes of Hamas to those of Israel. They sought arrest warrents for both, and each case needs to be investigated individually.

Israël oppressed Gaza systematically, people live in an open air prison and are poor and have often no food, there is hardly any employment. Hamas isn't allowed to arm themselves officially, it's a militia not really an army. They basically can't attack the IDF, so they attack civilians which is disgusting but it has to do with the fact they haven't any military power and don't stand a chance against the IDF, so attacking civilians is there way of claiming some power. Hamas is a terrorist organisation and there end goal of erasing Israël of the face of the earth isn't realistic. I understand why they radicalised, because they feel there land was stolen, and that's actually what happened. But to try to erase Israël is offcourse not a solution. 1948 happened and they have to embrace it and find a solution for both parties involved. Abbas in the Westbank is much more realistic, but unfortunately, because he is more reasonable, Israël keeps colonising the Westbank and taking advantage of it. So yeah it's like you can't solve anything with Israël, it's quite clear they actually want to drive the Palestinians out, that's why I believe there will never be a two state solution as long as the VS keeps backing Israël in every crime they commit. Because if Palestine becomes sovereign, they can't steal land anymore. Sure 7th october was a barbaric terrorist act against civilians, but you have to look at the context why it was done otherwise this conflict will never be solved and it will happen again from both sides.

The released prisoners said that they were given good food, health care, basic necessities, and they were treated very very kindly. A Jewish man coined the barbarous Greek and Latin hybrid "geno-cide" to mean the extermination of a specific ethnicity not more than one ethnicity. The correct word would be geno-thanatos for the Greek to English. What is happening Gaza is actually more than one type of cleansing of an ethnicity, thus poly-thanatos. In Latin to English we could use "magna homicide."

US Sen. Cotton et al. can have arrest warrants issued against them, too, which would restrict their ability to travel to any ICC member nation over fear of arrest and being transported to The Hague.
