I remember once watching the news and someone claimed she gets "less liberal" every time she sees the homeless pee outside. Apparently advocating for public toilets for all was not an option for her. Anyway, the city thought of it and the problem immediately reduced drastically. Some people would literally rather lean towards fascism than solve the damn problem and it's bizarre.

We can no longer count on the honorable behavior of those that reach the highest office in our justice system, the Supreme Court. We need to make them accountable for their actions by requiring them to be elected by the American People every four years. Some of these justices seem to feel they are above the law.

@@kellyburket6955 the only counter-productivity of term limits is a worry that Justices will spend all their time campaigning instead of judging; we can stop them from campaigning at all, and make part of their term limits the only campaigning that is allowed IS their own work.

If Democrats have a real majority in the House and Senate, expanding the court is possible. Impeachment must be initiated and done by the House and then 2/3rds of the Senate must vote to convict to remove the person from office. Term limits would require a Constitutional amendment. However, it’s possible to create a panel of Senior Justices who’ve served a certain number of years, say 15 or 18, who would then be available for consultation and could be randomly selected to fill in for a recused Justice or in the interim following a death or unexpected retirement until a replacement is confirmed.
