Got the big one , need the small one. Black jack 42 is a beast. Great comparison mate. You never fail to make me buy another boat. Pro boat always build decent stuff.

This blackjack 24 is very much like my old fiberglass yellow surge crusher.. I just installed a turnigy 3665 2100 k and I run it on 3s 4500 60c swinging a 47mm 1.4 quality composite prop... I have my old 120amp hw esc and original 5mm flex drive...with 3s it's very nice ..launches well and has to have 40 plus mph top end..I like using 1 battery instead of the 2 I used to use..motor, esc and batt barely get warm...I can run it on 5 or 6s just by propping down if I want,but for me its plenty fast on 3s and very reliable...thanks for sharing.

Hey big b is that duct tape? I will be testing my old motley crew cat soon and it has no hold downs like my other boats...never used duct tape for hatch cover before,but it seems to work well.thanks

Man I'm learning a bunch watching all your videos on the Blackjack 24. I just got one and would like to set it up for speed runs. We have a really nice glass smooth pond near home so the perfect place to run boats. You say the stock motor will handle a bigger Amp esc and larger battery? Also think I will replace the shaft tube and the prop support

Yes sir I recommend the ose raider 90, 90a continuous 500a burst. Great budget speed control and its light weight. Great for the stock motor 👍 ose also has a direct drop in flex cable and strut for the bj24

We just ran our boats yesterday at the lake & my buddy flipped his blackjack 24 near the shoreline, within 20 seconds a dog ran over swam out & grabbed the boat & crunched the front sponson. Ruined his boat & our day

Can the Blackjack 42 upgrade to 2x 6s batteries to make 12s, without replacing motor and/or ESC?…if not what upgrades need/should be introduced to achieve said result?

No don't try 12s on the stock motor, it will smoke!

Quick question I've got a 4S system and I'm pretty sure it's not the best in the angry shark when I take the stuff out of my blackjack 29 and I put in it on 4S it should be better than what I had in it correct or is it just going to be the same

I JUST CHANGED MY MADFLOW FROM 3S TO 6S . I WON"T BE TRYING IT OUT UNTILL THE SPRING . THE LAKES ARE STILL FROZEN, END OF APRIL THEY SHOULD THAW.

Found my gremlin the battery conection on the esc side so put the sonicwake 120 amp esc in it. Best speed on 4s is? Im about to see what i get in about half hour from now peace

@@IRONCLADRC gremlin took me out not a boat gremlin but a 1 to 2 inch sycamore branch from about 35 to zero real quick, gonna have to get kick up rudder, got a new hull on the way cause I ripped my rudder bracket and half the transoms off half inch gap onlyv20 feet out so got it back before she went down 35 feet deep there no dive for me to recover. Chit happens and when it does the rush is on. Boat gang 419.

Tfl 438 is a great prop for the stock electronics. Probably pick up 5-9 mph
