  Saddle Tape Overhangs! This is what I do. Take a NEW strait edge razor blade (old, dull, dirty blades with rust spots wont work if you want a clean edge). Spray some WD-40 onto a paper towel. Wipe entire blade area on both sides with WD-40 not just the edge. Cut the excess tape from entire length of side in one smooth motion, while pulling the excess material up and away from the edge this way it wont catch on the blade and give you a ragged edge. Wipe blade with WD-40 before you cut each additional side. I am like you! I hate rough ragged edges when I cut saddle tape! This should help you get those cuts straight and sharp. I usually use 1/16” thick tape but should work just as well for 1/8” thick. Keep up the great work! BG4L Bro!

  Look at the big box store for weather sealing tape, you can substitute it for the expensive hatch tape & it comes in different widths.

  Rebuilding my stealthwake (first boat ) with carbon fiber and a 3674 motor (6s) .when I put new electronics in and drove it on 3s was amazing. Then tried it on 6 s was crazy and out of control. So I'm reinforcing it with carbon fiber and all new hardware . Hopefully I can make all this work hahaha wish me luck

  One of those cheaper 4mm stingers would be a good size foe that boat next best option is a tfl 3/16 stinger

  That Spektrum S2200 G2 Smart Charger is making me want to get back into trying lipos again. The quality of the lipos in the beginning turned me off electric RC. Thanks for the honest review.

  It's taken a while but I finally got to make my first run with this boat...wow. it runs great. It's fast and punchy. I actually think it runs better than the new v2 black jack. I copied most, not all, of what you did on yours so i thank you very much. Don't let yours sit on the back burner. Bg4l

  Awesome to hear Jim, I just put a coat of clear on mine, moved the servo back about an inch from where I originally mounted it, all I need to do is reinstall everything and get some new esc's (stole the 90s foe the df29 twin)

  get a small c clamp and use a socket on the threaded side of bolt. will help push those bushings in easier. Using the socket head bolt helps keep the bushing from getting ruined when hammered or pressed in like you had!

  Never dealing with wilmer oxidean ever again. He's a scammer and just flat out stupid. If antthing happens to his cheap chinese products or they arent the spec he claims they are he will claim you dont know what youre talking about while displaying his is incompetence. Then block you. I was warned by literally dozens of people only to find this out for myself.

  What does a cap pack do? How does it improve the performance of the boat?

  It doesn't really help in performance so to speak it really just helps reduce voltage sag voltage ripple from the lipo to the esc

  Hey Big B im running 6s on a 3660 3250kv on a 150A flycolor! This thing is scary fast!! What prop would work best for my setup?

  6s? Oh man I would imagine the smallest prop you can, the kv would be best run on 4s in my option.. props octura or cnc 3814 4014 octura 638. Abc 1514 17/45

  It's a piece of silicone cooling tube stretched over the stuffing tube as a replacement

  My flexible shaft and the coupler is REALLY REALLLY TIGHT. Should i sand my shaft a bit or it has to be reallt tight like that?

  I've lightly sanded my flex cables in the past but keep in mind that you want a tight fit at the connection once collet is tightened down

  I have been watching your videos hoping to learn how too install a 180 A Seaking ESC. I can install one but can’t get power to my Leopard motor. Your ESC HAS MORE CONNECTIONS-probably where my problems start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

  What would make you choose a stinger style driveline over the strut you chose? The strut seems like the way to go but I would think the stinger is easier to install maybe?

  I was talking in general, stinger or strut for any particularboat build, the only real choice for a hydroplane is a strut

  I can’t exaggerate about your achievement on this shrimp boat. It’s amazing I just built the exact boat other than the lipo, and the prop. I had to run the vant 4s 1300 it’s all I had that would fit supposed to be 120 c ha ha. Also I ran a 3816 cnc Only got 95 kmh so just under 60 mph . I am a long way from 85 You are the man.

  Hey B, I was thinking of trying a Traxxas 540XL 2400kv in my V1 Sonicwake on 4S. What would you recommend for a prop size for decent speed/run time. Or would you just keep the stock 1900kv on 4S and get a different prop? Trying to get A middle ground on speed and run time for my son&wife to have some fun.
