This is the best video of its kind , great overview and you didnt miss a beat BigB . This is why people and companies send you free stuff , because it goes to someone with knowledge , promotes the hobby and has followers who listen . Currently the RC world record is a Hydro at 206 mph , video here on the tube . I would think a Rigger would be capable of top speeds but what is your opinion when building a hull for speed . Plus loved how you avoided the C rating deception and rabbit hole .

Hey Big B you just made a video on the sonicwake two yesrs ago to swap in the big block v2 on the v1. Now i have a Big question for you. I have laiyng around a 6s 36x70 motor that is not so HUNGRY like the stock one. On the stock one i only get 5 minutes running, and so i get a bunch of batteries each time i go to the lake. With that 36x70 i hope to get more time of it, isint that WONDERFUL. Any help you could give me i woul much apreciate. THANKS.

I think there are some socket head screws in that mess I sent you. The threads will fit most motors, but you may have to adjust the length.

No one lets you run them at their lake cause their noisy, they are oily and get dirty all on the inside with the exhaust and unless you got a badass engine its gonna be slow, i love and build gas and nitro, cant beat brushless

@@Wangan280z thats sad if all you can do is run electric boats. have you tried state or county parks with larger lakes?

@@Hogan-m3w i run my gas and nitros at a park with a lake thats namba certified, so i got the membership and everything. But its like 20 miles away, i can take one of my electrics to almost any lake near me not posted trespassing and run it. I actually usually just run everything at the namba lake because its easy to retrieve there, just not good for SAW runs.

What would make you choose a stinger style driveline over the strut you chose? The strut seems like the way to go but I would think the stinger is easier to install maybe?

  • @IRONCLADRC

I was talking in general, stinger or strut for any particularboat build, the only real choice for a hydroplane is a strut

How do you like the ul19 turn fin bracket? The popeye bracket is a single hole only and very small. It seems like there is quite a few turn fin options for the UL 19 so thinking of switching to that bracket.

Rebuilding my stealthwake (first boat ) with carbon fiber and a 3674 motor (6s) .when I put new electronics in and drove it on 3s was amazing. Then tried it on 6 s was crazy and out of control. So I'm reinforcing it with carbon fiber and all new hardware . Hopefully I can make all this work hahaha wish me luck
