    I have friends that swear by CDB oil. I tried it and it made me extremely sleepy. It can be challenging to get the dose that's right for you figured out. It DID show up on my blood test at the Dr that I had marijuana in my system so be careful if you are job hunting etc. I can't remember which brand it was.

    ONLY with your approval they can search for that wtf.....except if the blood test was for a job...but if it was in a normal blood test he has NO right to search for secondary things apart from the ones that he has ro look for like deficiencies and stuff like that

    Cbd definitely benifits my adhd and simply “smooths it out”. I usually constantly overthink and have a lot of anxiety. Defo helps ! But I smoke cbd cigarettes. Each cigarette contains 50mg of cbd and .3% thc. (Legal). You need the thc because it’s an anti-carcinogenic and helps keep the cancer out of the smoke you inhale (EDIT: forgot to mention I am 21)

    I like the way you described it as using serotonin naturally without reuptake. I've had nothing but side effects with SSRI's. I've just tried Trip CBD oil for the first time this week. Today I upped to 10 drops (0.5ml - just half of the recommended 1ml per dose) and finally managed to work on some well overdue paperwork.

    It does calm me down. I stop fidgeting as much and my thought process becomes a little clearer. I'm inattentive type though, so my hyperactivity isn't as severe as yours maybe. A lot of oils have a pretty low dosage, might not be more than placebo. The one in the video for examle, 3% is virtually nothing. is a The Higher doses of CBD definitely have an effect in general. I don't use oils though, I vaporize 60% CBD moonrocks together with some normal CBD flower or yarrow (so my vaporizer doesn't clog up from the rocks). It kicks in a lot faster and more noticable. But the effects don't last as long as by ingesting it.

    Hey. I spent 3-4 years trying to understand it. I can save you time to get a proper diagnosis. You want somebody to give you the browns exective function survey and/or the "baars" Barkley attention something something scale. (Barkley's a ADHD research pioneer) . Depending on where you live you can find recommendations from ADHD sources. In Canada. It's caddac or caddra. In USA it's the organization called chadd I'd be happy to help. lmk.

    @@insaini87 thank you! My primary doctor referred me to Kaiser's psychiatry department. I havent called yet because i dont want to be pressured into any medication or anything. So im kind of scared. Im almost positive i have it, and it would make so much sense if i did after doing extensive research. I also dont know how much itd cost for therapy and rn isnt a great time financially for me. i gotta save as much as I can. I just wanted affirmation that i do have it and then i could research ways I can self help myself... i was looking at chadd.org and it seems great but im sure it costs money. ive never seen a therapist or psychiatrist because my parents never believed in that sort of thing so ive grown up finding ways to help myself and improve myself.

  • @insaini87

    @insaini87

    @@Alisa-bp1yp hey, A) being hesitantant to begin treatment on add is normal actually because for me atleast the illness seemed really vague. It's true for most mental illnesses, harder for me to wrap my around around v a physical illness. The solution for me was getting a more scientific answer / "proper" diagnosis. --the browns executive function scale I mentioned really hit it home for me. I can send you this. It may help affirm or disaffirm your own thoughts around add. In Canada, caddac had a document on their website which outlined how to receive a proper diagnosis. I can send you that. also learning about it helped me wrap my head around it. My psychiatrist gives out a list of books for newcomers to read. I can send it to you. I also went to meet up groups to meet others and realized they were just like me 😅 haha, helped reaffirm my add. B) finding a experienced doctor is key. What I did was go to local meet up groups (found on meet up app) and ask people for recommendations on a doc. Going to meet up groups is recommended too for support. -you can also search forums in your city or region for a recommended psychiatrist For the money part. Think of it this way. It's more expensive to not spend the money and do anything about it because it will reduce your life's potential and every aspect of your life. c). You don't have to think too much about this part yet until a diagnosis but FYI The most effective treatment is always medication + CBT therapy together. In Canada psychiatrist services are free but Medication is out of pocket and most CBT therapy costs money. I have to do the CBT therapy myself too (saving up) but in the mean time I applied for free therapy and started self therapy from a highly recommended book. After your diagnosis you can try searching maybe for free CBT and any organizations or government offers it for low income or whatever else. D) btw it could be you don't actually have add so But Being proactive and exploring this now versus later on in life (a lot of ppl don't do anything about it until their 30/40/50/60 ) I too come from a family/culture where mental health isn't talked about, it's shunned .it's unfortunate. It makes it harder to deal with it but we gotta push through. Know your not alone and others gone through it and there are ways! Stay rational, Peace

    Every CBD brand makes their cbd different so you have to experiment with different brands, it should never cause a burning feeling and when you said that I got nervous for you cause that means it has something other then CBD in it, also you cant really overdose on cbd the most it will do is make you take a nap, I would not recommend that brand just from what you were saying through out the video. I work at a cbd shop and am highly educated on the subject, I personally use it for my anxiety and i use a clear distillate CBD 250mg an use 10 to 15 drops depending on how bad my anxiety is
