Does CBD Oil Help ADHD?

    Cbd works 100% to relax. It just does not force his brain to focus like methylphenidate does. If the relaxation is enough for him to get in a good focus, that Is great! I am glad your son found a natural way to help with his adhd. Take care

    I have ADHD and I use CBD oil. It has helped me. It is not a perfect solution to all the problems associated with ADHD. But, it has been helping me pay attention better. Lately, I have just received my Medical Marijuana Card. THC gets me a little high. So, that doesn't help with ADHD. However, even though THC doesn't help, CBD seems to be helpful for my ADHD. I do have other issues which THC helps with. Including: PTSD, Asperger's, anxiety and social anxiety. THC has helped with those issues more than it does with ADHD.

  • @ABCsofADHD

    @ABCsofADHD

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hi Philip. It's hard to say really, cause hyperkinetic disorder was the catchall term for ADHD back then so even a now ADHD-PI could have been diagnosed with it. However, taking into consideration that hyperactive symptoms are more easily noticeable and you got diagnosed with it, it could be the combined type or predominantly hyperactive-impulsive.

The negatives would be that if you do it on day, chances are you'll be lazy and tired. And thus have a harder time getting your stuff done. (If you don't know ur dosage)

    I've also read that study that you mentioned but also found another one that included 53 individuals (from ages 4-22). They found out that CBD helped with the reduction in self-injury behaviours, rage attacks, hyperactivity as well as improvement in their sleep habit and anxiety problems. Of course, we cannot say that CBD is the key to "eliminate" ADHD, but with further research, there is a lot of potential. Also, I've found an article about CBD and ADHD (I hope that it's ok to share it here): hempika.com/cbd-adhd/

    @johnrick3508

    4 жыл бұрын

    Hey Toni, I got diagnosed w adhd a a few years ago. I tried methylphenidate, but it made me emotionally unstable so I needed to look for an alternative. I can highly recommend u to try out lions mane mushroom, take care about what you eat, and try out sports and meditation. Meditation can get tricky and annoying at the beginning because it forces you to focus on nothing but the now (this helps you get a better long term focus) You can imagine your attention span as a Muscle. You can train it. Also have your protein reserves always filled, so that your body can produce all the chemicals it needs. Proteins are the building blocks of all the good stuff. You need to "guide" your dopamine to a direction that benefits you. Try out dopamine fasting. Quit your nasty attention span sucking habits and trade them in, one by one for one beneficial to you. Don't watch porno, don't masturbate, reduce social media (also youtube) to a minimum. Read and write (practice makes ur brain Muscle grow) eat walnuts to give the brain them nice omega 3 acids and b-vitamins it needs. If you do this, you will most definitely improve. Remember this is just a quick "Tip" from a guy on KZread. This is a process, and you have to be patient and loving with yourself. You can do it, i know it. I was once out of control unfocused, and I made it out... You can too! Take care

    ABCs of ADHD there are some meds that don’t have any in it but the side effects are worse than the ones that do. And I watched the documentary “take your pills” the people who took ADHD pills wish they never took them in the first place. Also that’s why they become addicting and you have to wean off of them. No thanks I did research too so I have my son taking fish oil, choline, L-tyrosine, probiotics and CBD oil with 0% THC. Everyone has a different route they choose to treat their child, but I did my research and I feel this is the best. Btw watching a documentary wasn’t the only thing I did as far as research goes.

  • @ABCsofADHD

    @ABCsofADHD

    While I won't tell you how to medicate your child, please understand that if one takes meds as prescribed, there is no chance of addiction. There might certainly be side effects but if the meds don't suit, you can try a different one. On top of that, there's also research that shows that if medicated from a younger age, it actually allows the brain to develop more normally (adhd is a developmental disorder). I'm just a guy on the internet but I know that if I meds from a younger age, I mightnt be struggling as much I did.
