Catching Poachers | On Patrol With Sea Shepherd

Join us on the front lines of ocean conservation as we set out with Sea Shepherd to catch poachers! In the winter of 2023, we were part of their covert operations in Poland's Baltic Sea, where we documented if fishermen were complying with new EU regulations. We witnessed various violations and even caught a trawler red-handed fishing in the boundaries of a protected area! #marineconservation #seashepherd #bwturbex
This video is just a glimpse into the critical work being done by Sea Shepherd and their dedicated volunteers. If you're passionate about supporting this non-profit organization in marine conservation, whether through donations, volunteering, or any other means, this is where you can find more info:

This upload is completely different than any other one we posted before. We wanted to share one of our many non-urbex adventures with you! At the beginning of 2023, we were heading to the Baltic Sea in Poland to catch poachers. We're Sea Shepherd volunteers for a while now, and we aimed to document one of their many campaigns to give a glimpse into the critical work being done by this non-profit organization. Learn how you can get involved, too, whether through donations, volunteering, or any other means: Sea Shepherd Germany ► sea-shepherd.de/unterstutzen/ Sea Shepherd Global ► www.seashepherdglobal.org/get-involved/

I watch Ocean Conservation Namibia! They rescue sea lions that have been nearly decapitated from ghost gill nets and plastics fishing vessels use! Dolphins and other sea creatures are tortured until they die like that poor bird! The criminal fishermen do t care about sea life all they care about is making money! I stopped eating fish yrs ago, but, billions of people all over the world consume way too much fish! The ocean can't keep up with the demands! BWT this short amazing video will open more peoples eyes hopefully at least all of your amazing followers will listen, so thanks guys for this brave adventure you took us on! We need more people like you!

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing info about Ocean Conservation Namibia's important work. It's heartbreaking to hear about the impact of ghost nets and plastic pollution on marine life - it's the same here in Europe and everywhere else, actually. We fully agree that raising awareness is crucial, and we're grateful to have viewers like you who care deeply about our planet. Let's continue spreading the word and working towards a healthier ocean for all creatures!

Thank you for sharing with us this part of your lives. My country has the Pacific Ocean on its West Coast, where I was born and grew up. We have the Atlantic Ocean on our East Coast, where I have many friends. On both coasts are important and protected habitats of endangered species that poachers often try to take fish, and to use illegal nets in our waters. I respect very much your involvement with Sea Shepherd, and the work you do to protect the sea life and seabirds from the abuses of unprincipled people who abuse the laws that are made to preserve the creatures we share our planet with, and that are endangered as species because of greed. It is sad that not everyone values the great diversity of life we are so fortunate to live with, which means that people like you must enforce the essential laws and regulations we all rely on to sustain our planet. When a species goes extinct, every other species in that chain suffers, and each extinction leads to more. Thank you for doing what you do.🖤🇨🇦
