​@stephscovill7221 I just came back from Vancouver Island a few weeks ago. Went to San Josef Bay and could not take enough pictures. Absolutely love it out there. More than likely I'll retire out to that area in the next decade

I'm glad you're back with your intelligent and sensitive comments. It's sometimes difficult listening to some other explorers who only seem to say, 'wow, look at this, wow, what's that, wow', and after 500 wows I leave it at that.

Yeah, we always found it difficult to watch such urbex vlogs on KZread. There's barely any information in these videos. But our goal is more than just entertainment. We want to transport history and emotions.

yeah the comments are poetic and beautiful, I lose sense of time when watching, I also love how they take pictures so we could pause ,take a good look and appreciate the place. your exploring is a work of art ❤️❤️

Clearly the poor old man was living in that house as it decayed all around him. So sad. Probably broke his heart. Must’ve been a lovely home, but in its prime. Too bad the family couldn’t even take out some mementoes, but maybe he doesn’t have any close family left. It’s so great to see a new video after all this time. You must have a HUGE backlog of material to edit and sort through. Can’t wait to see more of what you’ve all been up to this year. Welcome back BWT!

Sad story, beautifully described. He was living there till about 2019? How quickly it became a ruin,! Welcome back ..we missed your vids and stories.

What an amazing find. And a bit terrifying. I’m from the American south. Lots of humidity. I’ve seen some impressive mold accumulations but this one is exceptional. I guess he shut the doors until he ran out of rooms and passed away or was taken away. Great video as always!

Welcome back, I am excited to see what you have been doing. This was once such a beautiful home, and to see it engulfed by the black mold to such an extent is very sad. As always, your work is a feast for the eyes, one could almost smell the must and decay, just from the visuals. It is a sad, but all too common story, when the vibrancy and joys of life become eroded by issues of illness and age…and all that is left are memories from better times. Thank you for preserving those memories.🖤🇨🇦

As an Indonesian..i'm glad that the last residance of the chateu has visited Indonesia n even kept the souvernir.. Makes me feel i'm a part of this journey.. Well done .. dear. I always wait for your stories.and take me with you in your adventure

Hey! Ist es nicht verrückt zu sehen, wie schnell so ein Gebäude verfallen kann, wenn kein Mensch mehr dort lebt und sich darum kümmert? Wahrscheinlich hat der Verfall schon eingesetzt, als der letzte Bewohner noch gelebt hat.

What a beautiful time capsule, probably keeping a sad ending story as its secret... Chapeau. But: 16:04 : Please never wipe your face with a sleeve, covered by spores of the mold, again...

This video was beautiful and honoring to the home’s previous occupants. Thank you for telling their story. The gentleman seemed like such a fun person. I would have loved to be friends with him. Seeing all of their memories left behind is so sad. Life is so short, and it moves too quickly. This was such a lovely exploration experience to see. The way nature is taking the house back so quickly is a stunning backdrop to the contents of the home that share the story. Fantastic work. 👏👏👏👏

A great find, and a very interesting explore, but this was a dangerous explore, some kind of molds can take you down in 3 months after contact, so toughing your face after taking off the mask is dangerous, hope too see more off you in good heath, guess this place was very moldy while the guy was still living there. Thnx for another great video.

So beautiful-and I love the church bells! The decay is so interesting. He traveled and enjoyed his life. The piano is so amazing-and still in tune. I love your explores and the music you use. It’s so nice to watch. I love being able to visit France. Great videos!

So glad to have you back, you have been missed. I am sure the chateau was beautiful a few years back, but now it will slowly deteriorate and disappear one day.

Great video and great to see you all back again! It amazes me how there is so many abandoned places with all the contents still there and just rotting away. Always interesting to know the history behind why the dwellings are abandoned also!

Thanks. It's amazing how many deserted factories and mansions still have remnants and memories from the past.

What a remarkable place and story. I’m not surprised by the mold: I lived in France for 4 years and battled it in the home I lived in. I’m just a matter of days with humidity in winter cold, it would bloom.

I'm glad you came back,i miss the ancient story of ur journey,even if its hard, ur still make it to share ur journey..❤❤❤

This France trip was in April. In May, we went to the Balkans again to finally reach Albania! In June, we crewed with Sea Shepherd in the German part of the Baltic Sea. In August, we did a minor urbex trip in Germany before we head back to Sea Shepherd in September. It was incredibly busy!

mould is strangely beautiful. weird to think that but it creates such wonderful pictures. I've been holding my breath while watching this video .I know what mould smells like musty, sickly sweet,makes you look to see where its coming from ,..but it's everywhere . Great vid look forward to more

Thanks so much! We described the mold in this house as dangerously beautiful, and that's what it is. It appeared fascinating to us because of the nice patterns and colors but of course, it's insidious.

There was a vase of old dead flowers in the table but there still seemed to be water in the vase. How could this be? And the water wasn’t moldy either. That’s not normal.
