“My thing is hanging” look dude no need to brag 🙄
In that first game, Eric was totally thrown off when his opponent's opponent failed to play the Stafford.

Could you make a video but every time you blunder, you get smaller.
35:18 - the beginning of 3:04 of beautiful silence, punctuated by one solitary "wow"
Great job man. That was fun to watch.
Now that's not the ordinary American , who says "no, I don't understand Russian" - in Russian. And as far as I can remember, no grammar mistakes. Greetings from Germany 😆
So much fun to see Eric in such fine form! That was a blast. Congratulations on the great result, Eric!
26:30 😂 My thing is hanging
Good video. The game where you considered resigning was probably my favorite.

Applies to the 2nd-last game, at least. Loses the exchange to a GM.

Oh no! You mouse-slipped into a solid opening line. We gotta stay dubious
“I don’t think I want to trade queens. Unless I do. Probably not.” - Eric Rosen 2024
Thanks Eric. Can’t wait to watch this!
Oh yes, 2hrs of Eric narrating chill tales of high level chess.
The first game was the very definition of a warmup game 😆
Eric was in rare form this match. Great job!
Game 10 is a swindler classic
Compelling compendium covering chivalrous chess, Eric
I fall alseep to your vids EVERY night Eric thank you so much keep doing what your doing 🙏🙏

I was expecting to see a Hunger Games movie in the background, but that's okay.
Happy Easter Eric :)
more arena kings plz
@ 56:42 Eric got excited: "Stafford gambit time?" ...no...
1:20:46 WELL DONE Eric, and the heart rate wasn't all that bad ;)
Would love to hear an evaluation on the game starting @44:50, that was crazy!
Rosen’s Rook, Checkmate in just one look.

Congratulations on playing chess more than me
I love the peaceful ambiance your videos never fail to create
1:08:12 was against 12 years old Spanish CM Pau Marin Ferragut.
At 27:03, can someone tell me if Eric blundered mate in 3. RC1, king takes Rh2, Qh6, king g2, Qh1 mate? Eric could delay for one move after RC1 by blocking with Qe1, but isn’t this forced mate?
@Beatseat

Erik you should go on Survivor. I think you could win it all
Can I make decals for laptop cases saying "what up my brosen"?
22:00 So how does the scoring work?
47:30 Yes you are getting mated, but with Ng6+, not with h4. Opponent blew it. Well played by you with Qf6.

Is that clear? What's the follow up after hxg6? If Qg4 then ...Rg4 seems to save.

you play people around your rating, so anybody can get to the top
The tight time controls make for good entertainment but it is barely even chess when time constraints start to play a major role. There are skills involved that just are not what anyone would describe as being required to play chess.
31 minutes 39 seconds If you play bishop to check you would have won the Queen

@ 31:10, opponent just casually overlooks bxe6??? Free Queen? Hello?? I'm so confused how a 2500+ can not see that lmao
@hamletfisherman5740
Ай бұрын
The queen never was on e6. Eric premoved his queen on e6 in case white took Eric’s bishop on e6. White instead moved back his bishop to b3, so the premoved canceled…
The problem with these fast games is they are hard to follow the move logic.
First!
heart rate monitor? this is surely a meme?
Why your games always have to be messy? Can't they be Ronaldo or mbabe?
You just lost a lot of Ukrainian auditory with your "I speak a little bit russia"
Stop pre-moving--it's so annoying.
@cruetusnex
Ай бұрын
Why is it annoying? He's playing blitz
@KF1
Ай бұрын
Maybe because it covers up the piece, making the position appear different than it really is. The lichess version is much better because you can still see the correct position during premove @@cruetusnex
@miked2543
Ай бұрын
@@cruetusnex Not that I approve of the whiny comment, but it is quite annoying when you're trying to follow along with the game.
@cruetusnex
Ай бұрын
@@miked2543 It's optimal play- trivial moves like recaptures save a lot of time if you pre-move them. He isn't premovng anything crazy like Hikaru, it isn't meant to be difficult to follow, it's to save time.
nice games 🤍
