Did I expect to watch an hour of Eric playing jobova London instead of getting out of my bed this morning? No. Did i enjoy it? Absolutely.

Reading your comment at 4:30 am. (instead of going to bed).
I would absolutely love to see more tournaments from a starting position. That would be a great way to see how a player sees the same position from different angles
My god, that first game...dual bishop, forced pawn push promotion mate with 00.87 seconds on the clock? You're a sick individual, sir. Freaking incredible.
51:27 this is an tricky situation not just for chess players, but also for implementers of chess engines: if you program "legal" move generators (which look for possible king checks before a move is played) as opposed to "semi-legal" move generators (king check is only tested after a move is played which then has to be taken back), then this en passant possibility is usually overlooked as a forbidden move if rook or queen and opposing king are on the same fourth or fifth rank. King would be in check then and the side with the king is not allowed to take en passant.
the way camel lost two games, with one a queen up, that he even lost his top place is pure anime villain backstory
52:39 omg, that tactic is so beautiful.

He missed an easy tactic right after it. When the king moved to the d-file Eric had rook to d1 which would have won the rook and forced mated
50:07 Eric drawing a beautiful picture
Frankly, I find any type of blitz tournaments really enjoyable, the thematic ones are really great, but nothing compares with the gambits!
I love these thematic tournament videos! Very cool to see the different variations and key ideas out of a particular opening, especially ones I'm not too familiar with such as Jobava London. An interesting video idea would be a tournament like this but with only offbeat openings like a 1. b4 or 1. f4 tournament
Good job, Eric! I like the themed tournaments because it helps instill some common themes for the different openings. Cheers!
The thematic opening tournaments are my favorite. It's really fun to watch you explore the same opening over and over. Thank you for being a benevolent dictator, Eric!
Thanks for posting this to KZread was interesting to watch the whole tournament with your commentary.
50:04 Eric becomes like Hikaru with all the arrows
Yes i want to see more thematic tournaments! Love the videos :)
I enjoyed the whole video thank you.very instructive .i learnt a lot
Hi Eric - yes, watching on KZread and definitely want to see more of these. Ponziani opening would be great. That double check to win the queen was awesome. Thanks for the content.
It was very nice to see the same opening again and again ! To See every possibility is a very good way to improve !! Thanks Eric !
That first game was amazing Eric, great content man!
Great result, and very entertaining! More thematic tourneys would be great.
I like the opening theme idea. I enjoy the kings indian/pirc/modern or the grunfeld with black. With white I have begun playing the italian and would be interested in seeing that. Great content as always!
What a tournament! Pls more of this type of content 😁👍
Love this, thematic openings deffo an interessting way to go, lets us plebs dig in to what some of the ideas in those openings are. Any chance you'd do something as "low-rate" as the Scandinavian?
Fantastic , opening! I will be learn it! Thank you Mr.Eric Rosen..!!!
I like the thematic opening content! I need to browse your channel for more Rapport-Jobava content
I would love to see more of these types of tourneys! How about a Bird-Larsen.
I learned a lot about playing against the London. Love the thematic tournament content.
I'd love to see a thematic tournament with the Budapest or Rousseau gambits! Awesome video, your calculating skills are insane!

Favourite chess content creator! Loved those opening tournaments. Maybe king's Indian defense or queen's gambit would be my choice!
Thematic openings tournaments are great! They were missed a lot! Maybe one day you can organize the Stafford Gambit thematic tournament ? :)

Thanks for making great chess videos!👍
As a KZread watcher, thank you for making that executive decision
24:10 is so hilarious to me,,, I'm dead
On the end remarks, is it possible to have a thematic Scandinavian?? I would love to watch it.
Yes! More theme tourneys :) They really show different and interesting lines and it helps 1100 scrubs like me learn! Would love to see one on the hallowe’en, queens or England gambits, they always make for fun viewing :)
Very cool, again. Thanks a lot Master👍
That first game was An amazing comeback
That first game was amazing!
That double check queen win should be a puzzle maneuver, I’ve never done a puzzle like it and that’s an awesome move. Also, Eric, you should partner with Levy and create courses for Chessly, I’d love one on your Jobava london especially after doing gothams D4 london/trompowsky course. A specialized Jobava london would be great
I love Eric most chill GM ever he has a crazy game and he goes oh that reminds me to turn on my heart rate monitor like what? You have a heartbeat chillest guy ever
41:00 "I'm well prepare" Gets trapped immediately.
Yes to more like this.
35:10 "For the Twork? What's a twork? Is it when you... probably when you fork while twerking" Eric Rosen 2023 What a way to start the New Year Love ya Eric lol
I ant to see more thematic tournaments. Many games on one opening is something I find very instructive.
I'd love to see more Jobava content
wanna see more of the thematic tourny
Yes to thematic tournaments! Much better content. It creates more continuity between games and storylines, and is more educational.
Yes to more thematic tourneys
@3:07 **YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SAC YOUR QUEEN HERE!!!**
You are absolutely nasty with the chess moves! Wow wow wow wow wow
Alea iacta est! All hail to the Duck Emperor!
That first game. Wow
Yes, more, please. I have a much of fun.
Good job being a dictator Eric! Yes, I really enjoyed the thematic tournament.
This was really fun to watch. Your brain is so fast.
It makes you a benign dictator, Eric, which I don't mind so much
I got a limitless chess ad with eric in it on this video 😂
Would love to see one of these for the Alekhine or Grunfeld
All hail Eric Rosen, our benevolent dictator! (Srsly, love your channel!)
Center fork trick opening tournament!
Congratulations Eric! Add me to YES more thematic tournaments. Perhaps Taimanov Sicilian
"Sorry if this makes me a dictator" I thought I was going somewhere else
I like thematic games, nice to see different variations, no guts, no glory.

Yes on thematic
41:50 why not block check with the queen?
Now we need the chapters to read "Another Jobava London" for every game...
Thematic opening tournaments are VERY INSTRUCTIVE. Choose any opening you like and there will be fans in you 100 000 army.
Thanks, Jobava
The endgame of game 1 is ridiculous. Wow

Everyone missed it but I’m so proud that I found it. At 16:12 instead of knight CB4, knight FE4 traps the opponent’s QUEEN. I think right?😂
