Bullies are just cowards , they are too scared to say anything on their own so they need their fellow bullies to add weight to what they want to say or do ! Please Shannon hold your head up high , shoulders back and walk with purpose and let them know that you are better than them . God bless you and your family !

Unfortunately there have always been bullies as vile as they are it’s a fact of life, and you have to find the courage to stand up and fight them otherwise your life can be hell especially as a teenager, we live a world where life is on social media which can be fine but putting personal information out their is not a good idea and bullies will use it.

I'm 70 yrs old.. I've had a stroke and my life has changed forever. Though I am recovering, but that's not what I'm on here for. In high school, I wasn't exactly bullied.. It was like I wasn't even there. I come from a poor family, I didn't have nice clothes and was extremely shy. I was never asked to my prom, and back then, it would have been humiliating to go by myself, as I didn't have a support group. I can truly relate..and it warms my heart to see that magic happened for this girl. For all the people who made it happen.. I hope you know what a difference this made, and I thank you for saving her special night.

I am in my mid sixties, but in high school I was bullied in junior high and high school. I hated going to school. I was gaunt and shy. After graduating high school I went to college. I shot up in height to 6'4 and started working out. I ended up working in a pharmacy full time during the day for my employment and I was a bouncer for a nice night club which had actually a dress code. Being tall and attractive was one of the criteria to work at the night club. This was in the Los Angeles CA. In any event I never dated in school and no one really liked me. I hated myself in school and at that time I did not want to live. Years later at 29 I ended up eventually marrying a beautiful model and she taught ballet. I was told I was ugly and stupid by a few classmates who were popular as football players. I thought about those days from time to time through my life, and I realized I had changed so much. No one all through my thirties until today would not think about ever confronting me, and I will leave it at that. I am saying everything with a humbled heart. This is a gist of my experience of being bullied so much way back when. Thanks for reading. What a beautiful story.

Bullying is such a horrible thing. How can children be so cruel. I had a son that use to get bullied when he went to school. He was over weight and children at school and on the bus would call him awful names. He would come home crying and it just broke my heart. He hever wanted to go to school. He went anyway and graduated. I was so proud that he showed everyone that he could win. He came out on top. All the children and adults who bully will be accountable one day. Be careful what you say and do. It always comes back on you. You heard the saying what goes around comes around. This is a true saying.

You kidding, they are the biggest cowards. My son being bullied/picked on, I could not believe it when the boy was my cousins son. This one was an easy fix (most times it is just pain for the child), went to my cousins house and clearly informed her that every time her son bullies my boy, I will not knock but will come through her front door drag her outside and will show her just how it is to be bullied and than I will have 5 of my husbands nephews show her son the same since he too needs to learn the consequences of bullying any child. I grew up with severe scoliosis (hunch back) and teased to a point that I would go to school than home, would go out to play, I would just lay in my room and cry. Then one day my dad said Peggy, don’t give anyone that kind of power over you. It took some time on my part but his advice was true, the next hurtful words and teasing I received, I looked them straight in the eyes and politely asked, excuse me PARROT, Is that the best you have nothing original? Please even I give you new phrases to use, HAHAHAHA. What is even worse than the bullies, are the teachers, other school officials that know who and see who are being bullied and who the bullies are DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL. I think they hurt me more than the bullies themselves. They see what is happening but just turn their backs or worse yet pretend (deny) that they had no clue. First hand, that is the biggest lie and they look you right in the face and tell that lie. I bet if it was their child being bullied they would see all

Unless it's over her beauty that they are jealous of, because I can see just how proud her mother was about her and how beautiful she looked in her prom dress and I think it's great that those bikers did what they did, because I've how some kids bullied other kids and I stood up for those who were being bullied and I can't stand those who bully others and most of them are cowards.

Bullying is a disease just like any other disease. There is something wrong with the bullys brain. I was bullied in school myself & I was in Special Education. The Bullying needs to stop. Its gone on for decades. My heart goes out to the person being bullied i know what their going through. This girl doesn't deserve this. Being 16 years old or so its going to live with her for the rest of her life. This girl is young, beautiful, etc. Congratulations to those who built her confidence up and for reacting to her needing to go to her Prom. Which I never went to mine due to the Bullying. Nobody is going to mess with bikers. She looks like a little princess. She was well protected not only by the bikers but by her loving family and her boyfriend. Great video keep them coming. Like I said before Bullying needs to stop worldwide. People don't deserve it. I know I never did, but unlike this girl she had help. I never did. I'm 59 years old and these Bullying videos still remind me of my days in school being bullied. Like I said its going to live with her (like it does me) for the rest of her life cause she'll be reminded of her bullied days. I know there are many organizations worldwide that will help with being reminded of the bullied days. Keep the videos coming

I look back on that day, not regretting not going to prom. Cause today I am a strong woman. Oh I forgot to mention, I also fight the same stomach issues this young lady deals with. Bullying is horrible. I'm 38 and I was bullied my entire childhood. To this day I still have no friends, though I'm well liked at work. I wish I had had the wonderful sorry this young lady had, and I hope her future becomes brighter.

Nice to hear a good story about people doing the right thing. I get fed up of seeing videos of people being attacked when the person making those films could have intervened to stop the abuse but this is heart warming to see the best in people helping someone. Well done all concerned!.

Having been bullied myself during elementary and middle school, and having been involved in helping an elementary schooler against a bully as a high schooler, I can totally sympathize with Shannon's emotional pain! God Bless those bikers and everyone else who helped make her alternate prom night happen! God Bless all of you, as well as you, Claire! Shannon, keep your chin up, too. I know from experience, that bullies are usually cowards, that when someone stands up to them, they usually run.

I donated my two daughters prom dresses but I took them to the school and give them to the art teacher! I was there the day one girl came in to look at the dresses some of her friends was with here. I heard them talking she wanted one of the dresses but she said I don’t have any nice shoes. One of the other girls told her I’ve got a pair you can borrow and another told her that her mom would do her hair for her! That’s what friends should do! Not everyone can afford a prom dress or even a wedding dress!

There are bully’s in every walk of life. Refusing to accept this calls for strength of character and a refusal to accept the behaviour. Being nice doesn’t cut it, being truthful is the weapon of choice.

What a sad but beautiful story! People who are bullies apparently think it makes them cool to bully others! It is not cool at all.
