When my friend got a horse, the mare had been left with a bridle on ALLL THE TIME, and wouldn’t allow anyone to touch anywhere near her mouth. After about 3 months, she let my friend pet her muzzle. No one else could. I brought my kids to visit…we went to see the horse, and my friend had given us some carrots but warned that we might not be able to hand feed her. I was talking to my friend when she looked at my son who was not only feeding the horse by hand, but was petting her muzzle and her chin. The first time he’d had any contact and not one other person besides my friend had ever been able to touch the horse’s muzzle.

Animals have that sense wild or not who to protect and who to attack. This is s special little Gal.❤

So sweet!Great story!I was hoping that she would grow up to be a veterinarian at the zoo the perfect job for a ultra kind soul like her’s!

I had a cat call baby that always used to give me head butts, sadly she passed away just over a year ago. She was a feral about four weeks when found and 18 when she passed.

Such an awesome story. Such a gorgeous Bengal Tiger. Also, awesome that the zoo let a guy with cerebral palsey such a high position job. Such a lucky girl to have that gift.

Lovely story, Really sad story for the lovely Tiger. Such an amazing creature caged is so sad to see, animals arnt ment to be caged... they were born free and they should really remain free! I know some situations have to end like this but it really shouldnt be this way. I pray that the beautiful tiger fully recovers and lives a happy life, Gods love and light is in all things living and not.

Poor Koshi. That's so sad. This is a beautiful story. Tigers are seriously misunderstood. They are extremely intelligent. All cats no matter how big or small act the same. If you have ever had a head bump from your house cat that is what Koshi was doing. It's a very deep experience for anyone with empathy towards animals. I was fortunate to have a similar experience. Not only do they like scratching it serves purposes. Obviously it keeps claws sharp and removes the old top layer which is normal and needed. It also, is thought, to be a sort of chiropractic adjustment.

The reason declawing is actually harmful to cats is it doesn't only remove the claw itself (think of it as your finger nail) but the actually remove the entire last bone of the paw the claw grows out of. Now sticking with the fingernail analogy, imagine trying to use your hands with the last little nubs missing! And how painful it must be to learn to walk on the nubs

Yeah the Tiger doesnt actually care. It enjoys not having to struggle to find food, shelter and mating partners. Animals are not people, though some people are animals.

Can you please find out what happened to the girl who took care of the tiger before it came to the zoo. Specifically, was she alive and coming to the zoo before or after Mandya started visiting the zoo?
