Yes, you are correct, and I sure wish someone would BURY this video because it has nothing to do with the actual song ... it's just something that someone synced to the it, and it just won't go away no matter how much I wish it would. It is very distracting to new reactors, who often get sidetracked by the actions going to rather than concentrating on the music and the words. I say this because I noticed you both staring at it and the words are VERY meaningful, and apply very well to today. I DO have to say that I really liked your reactions ... and you seem like a really nice couple.

BLACK SABBATH, "WAR PIGS". Iconic Band from Late 60's. From England Guitarest, Tony Iomi, Bassist, Geezer Butler, Drummer, Bill Ward, Vocals, Ozzy Osborne. This song is from the first album. Unfortunately the message that were in many songs from the 60's, and 70's. Apply to the deaf politians of the past and today. Other bands and songs regarding this event. The Who, "WE DON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN", Rolling Stones, "GIVE ME SHELTER". Buffalo Springfield, "FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH", CROSBY, STILLS, NASH, AND YOUNG, "OHIO". Nice Reaction.

Sorry, but I think the purpose of the lyrics is to get us humans used to war and terror in the future. They were to contribute to people accepting themselves as slaves. They are a tool for spreading subconscious fear and then managing it. However, the lyrics of these works turned against their authors years later. They raise people's level of awareness and reveal their actual motivations. Darkness has already called for many of these performers. I would like to add that I love Black Sabbath, I listened to them from the beginning of the '70s

@@patthewoodboy You're right, Pigs Of War is an anti-war song. In addition, brilliant. The manipulation is that such songs served as a safety valve to discharge social discontent. Let people wave a clenched fist, shout a wrong row, jump to the hypnotic music, smoke a joint, praise lucifer, and go home. It worked for many years according to the principle of bread and games. This is what was used to do in my communist country. The only difference was that we were poor slaves and in the west you were rich slaves. If you see and do not rebel, it means that you agree. And "satan laughing, spreads his wings". I'm glad people are finally starting to get it

Black Sabbath formed in 1968 originally as a blues rock band called The Polka Tulk Blues Band and later as Earth w/ Tony Iommi on guitars, Geezer Butler on bass, Bill Ward on drums and Ozzy Osbourne on lead vocals. Ozzy has said that one day they went to a movie theater and saw the Boris Karloff movie Black Sabbath and said, “Isn’t it weird that people pay money to get the __ scared out of them?” Later, Geezer Butler wrote the song “Black Sabbath” and they changed the name of the band to Black Sabbath in 1969 and titled their 1970 debut album as “Black Sabbath”, which musically went into a darker “doomy” vibe but very much still influenced heavily by the blues (The album was recorded in 12 hours). Later that year they released their 2nd album “Paranoid” which spawned some of the most classic well-known classic metal songs such as this song “War Pigs” (an anti war song), “Iron Man”, “Paranoid” and “Fairies wear Boots” (VERY bluesy song!) The original line up would play together until 1979 after the release of the “Never say Die” album and tour. Ozzy Osbourne was fired because of his heavy drug and alcohol abuse which would cause him to miss rehearsals and/or arrive late and as he would later say he just wasn’t into it anymore (the musical direction the band was on). The Ozzy era (1969-1979) was an amazing era that saw 8 studio albums, the first 6 being consecutively outstanding! (Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Vol. 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sabotage, Technical Ecstasy, Never Say Die) Ozzy’s vocals peaked w/ the 5th and 6th albums (“Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” and “Sabotage”). Though misunderstood by the public and often labeled as “Devil worshippers” most of their songs were about love and peace and social issues such as war, pollution and mental health.

I love Black Sabbath - what I found amazing was that both Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath were born from destiny. In Black Sabbath's case - Tony and Ozzy went to school together (Tony being older) and one time Tony and Bill Ward (Drummer) were auditioning for singers but blew off Ozzy because Tony figured it was just a gag never knowing Ozzy for a singer until later Ozzy and Geezer (Guitarist at the time) came looking for Bill Ward to audition him for their band. They all gave it a go and in the first 5 min knew it was going to be special. I'll leave the Led Zeppelin story for one of their reactions. #Sweetleaf #TheWizard

Marko of Nightwish is a huge Sabbath and Tony Iommi fan and War Pigs is his favorite song. When Marko left Nightwish he said "Do not contact me, unless you are Tony Iommi. Childhood heroes get preferential treatment". Tony later returned the compliment by mentioning Marko when asked about good Sabbath covers. Marko has a band called "All Hietala Power Trio" with his brother Zachary, guitar, and son Miro 20, drums. They play Sabbath covers. They played live on KZread during pandemic. It was a Kuopio Rock Academy event in Marko's hometown. Available on YT. I know you can not react to everything but watch on your own: Marko Hietala - "War Pigs" Prague 2020 Marko Hietala - Lullaby (Marko playing acoustic guitar and singing Black Sabbath's "Planet Caravan" to Jukka's, the Nightwish drummer's, tiny newborn daughter. It's an old private video, which is not available, it's there but hidden, on Nightwish's own channel anymore, but someone else has uploaded it, and it has not been removed. I think it is Jukka's wife who whispers: "She's watching so keenly, love at first sight.")

Definitely an anti war song that was not only referencing the Vietnam War which was raging at the time of the recording, but War in general. The members of the band were born in post war Birmingham, which was not a pleasant place. They grew up in the grim shadow of WWII and saw the effects it had on their families and country and it’s economy. It’s a classic. Can’t go wrong with any of Black Sabbaths first six albums.

I started watching you two reaction to nightwish. You've started listening to some of all time favorite. Iron Maiden now Black Sabbath. This is my favorite Sabbath song. I've been in many clubs, Las Vegas, Phoenix Arizona, ext. Every time this song comes one. Everyone starts singing. React to Heaven and Hell Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio singing.

The band actually was concerned about the open anti-war sentiment (most notably due to the holocaust victims) because the timeline was WW2 (notice the blimp, propeller powered bombers and air raid sirens). Anyway..... The band chose to go with the military industrialists that capitalized on the war. That's why the signs say "work" as opposed to "fight".

This song as many other ones during the decades of the 60's, 70's, with other many rock bands demanded Peace and Love in our home world, leaded by dirty politicians and Bankers, taking care of their own money, not interested in human beings, that's why they still create wars to dominate our minds, our will. Rock music in those years create deep messages to young minds to be prepared and to open our mind and eyes to what they were doing to humankind. Through the internet and mass media they try to "educate" or keep your brain COMFORTABLY NUMB..., just to be "obedient minds"... don't think, just obey. They control our minds and will with just a little machine... "the Cell phone... !!!Long life to Rock...!!!. A book is a Gym to our brain...

Really, there is a sulfur smell in this issue. It's Black Sabath style. And the words of a prophecy or a plan. But who paid attention more than 50 years ago? Now what are these "pigs of war" trying to do? I recommend "Child In Time" Deep Purple Concert, prophetic words, stunning rock music, or "Sympathy For The Devil" by Rolling Stones where you can clearly see hoof sign

Hardrock from Birmingham (UK). Appropriately, the city is the center of British metalworking and lies to the east of the "Black Country" - named after the smoking chimneys that the Industrial Revolution concentrated here. Sabbath's anti-Vietnam song from 1970. You should watch Live in Paris 1970. Bill Ward is druming his ass off and Ozzy is so young...can't believe it!!! The Video has nothing to do with the whole thing.
