I'm from Bangladesh. The bitter gourd or korolla (করল্লা) is our most well known bitter vegetable. I personally love it!

Bitter foods were intuition for my self... (helped stop hot flash ) just eaten a big plate of asparagus bitter but amazing ❤ I Need bitters.

super information and maybe you will have a recipe for that stuffed bitter melon that is pictured near the end of this video....we eat it when we have it...and wonder who is that commenter talking about regarding their inspiration...seems like it was a poke at your video..?

Unfortunately, I don't have recipes for foods pictured in this video😦. You'd have to Google it...I just feel very passionate about including the whole array of tastes in one's diet: including the bitter taste, excluding as much sugar as possible. Conventional US foods have so much sugar in everything and lack the taste of a "normal" healthy food. Fortunately, there has been a grass movement to educate oneself about what's going into packaged foods, to eat healthier, and to be aware of all the chemicals the ag and food industries dump on the consumer. Every time we cook a healthy yummy dish from scratch, we win back some control of what's going into our bodies
