It doesn't kill but hurts like hell. I stood on one when I was 16 and at a boat ramp in QLD Australia helping my Dad put the boat on the trailer. It FUCKING HURT and I felt really bad for a few hours, mainly just very nauseous and threw up a bit. It was sitting in the corrugations of the concrete ramp and about ankle deep in the water so we saw it straight after. But luckily we were in hospital 30 minutes later but they decided I didn't need antivenom. I was there for a day and a half under observation, heat packs and they just addressed the symptoms rather than have to administer antivenom which is last resort apparently. I got the runs for a day or so after but that could have just been hospital food!

His bubbly underwater voice 😄. He’s a very funny man.
I love the physical element of his comedy, the impressions of the creatures in the sea lol. You can picture it in your head as he explains it, he's just got that ability and it's fun to watch. Gotta love Big yin.

Many currant comedians think you need to be cruel to be funny. Billy was never cruel. Observant, yes, but never cruel.
Genius!
Wonderful stuff. Thanks
There's a top tier for comedy, and for me, it's almost always the story telling comedian. There's exceptions like Rckles and Dangerfield but almost always the storyteller. Billy is in that top tier. His ability to read the audience and always lead them around to where the punchline hits hardest is genius. Pryor had it, Chapelle and Rock and White have it. Billy is on the same level. Billy, you King of Scotland you.
Love You Big Yin and Take Care, ❤
One of Billy's greatest bits, Bravo!
Billy you crack me up. The best video I’ve seen of yours was the airplane one. You talked about still being able to smell the glue. It’s your best comedy.

Still awesome today
Finally! I love this skit!
I got to say I woke up with an attitude this morning and this just made my day a lot better😄💯🤙
I just love how the pain was so astronomical that it transformed the simpleton into a completely coherent person!😂😂😂
I think that's the most I've ever laughed in four minutes!
Never put my foot in a hot coal fire for hours but have stepped on a stone fish! Would not be at all surprised if the hot coal fire hurt less! The pain is impossible to describe, the weird thing is almost boiling water can kill the pain!
The very worst pain is that of a migraine. Men don't get them as often as women do. God bless all migraineurs!
Please upload more on this channel again. Since none of Billy's material is available to buy digital anywhere, this channel has been an excellent source.
Funniest man alive. Bar none.
If you had a list of the top 10 most venomous creatures, the Stonefish would be on that list. Speaking of the worst pain known to man, many people call stingrays, the "wish you were dead fish" for obvious reasons. Apparently the pain can last days, weeks and sometimes months. No pain relief other than hot water, very hot water. Step on a stingray and you'll be thinking of nothing else but the pain for a long time. Step on a Stonefish and you'll be extremely lucky if you survive to worry about the pain. Everyone in Australia knows what a Stonefish is. ✌️🇦🇺

@castleanthrax1833

@@evanb8495 The funny thing about those two animals is, that Portuguese man of War are usually considered nothing more than a nuisance in Australia. We call them "blue bottles", and unless you have some form of anaphylactic reaction to being stung, they aren't a deadly creature at all. Stonefish are potentially deadly, but a sting is incredibly rare that they're not thought of as much of a threat/problem.

Happy Birthday Billy Connolly born on November 24, 1942. He is a Scottish actor, retired comedian, artist, writer, musician, and presenter. He is sometimes known, especially in his homeland, by the Scots nickname the Big Yin ("the Big One"). - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Connolly
Gawd I love Billy. I've watched all his stuff so many times. 💕 I think passing kidney stones are my worst pain known to humans... and I had a 30 hour natural force labour with my 2nd lol. But a bad/rotten tooth is also excruciatingly painful. I've had broken toes. Which was nothing. All my body piercings or tattoos were nothing near kidney stones!! Women's body's are made for childbirth. Not stone passing!
I think I need Billy Connolly yelling fuck as a ringtone😂
This just doesn't seem to get old.

Screaming f underwater...hilarious sounds ty ty omw 🤣😆
I don't know if the stone fish was included but there was a book that listed and rated the worst stings/bites. There were things like bullet ants and tarantula hawks in it. Anyway, it was written by a guy who went out and got stung or bitten by all these things on purpose and the wrote a review of what it felt like. I think he was called Schmidt? So Billy is closer than he realises

Remember watching all his dvds, tail end of academy 2003/4, just remembered this joke tonight and remember the time i was walking through town (aberdeen) seen him and rather than act cool, ask for an autograph, or any other sane response, pointed and shouted billy connolly, never been more embarrassed

A family friends son stepped on one when he was in the Philippines - and according to him you're more than right about the pain.
I have earbuds in. My children are eating breakfast. I'm laughing so hard and receiving the teenager "you're being weird, Mom" stare.
"Have you known a lot of pain?" "Aye. Fell off ma bike once." 😂😂 Love Billy, funniest man known to man
Crying, bloody genius
This speaks to me right now, well always has. Recent news of sharks and all the stories on ytube past and present. I'm not making light of it, but I still venture in the sea now and again but Im ultra aware , and thats in the UK. I've been stung by jellyfish, stood on some spikey fish in Cornwall, had an Adder leap onto a coast path in front of me, was eyeballed by a Comerant that swooped under my legs and popped up right in front of my face, whilst swimming, within my depth, in Catalonia. Freaked out and when a spider appeared on my husbands shoulder when he was tucking into his breakfast. Things that bite, creep, scuttle, sting and spook, but Austrailia seems to be on another level, yikes.
Il Duce! (The Duke) Love this guy!
I love his t shirt and tails!
I spent an hour an a half with Billy , smoking, chatting , Hugging,…really talking like as if I’ve was just a stranger I met and was making friends with, oh what a beautiful hour and a half of my life, he went on the phone to my family, bla bla bla I could go on and on but I say all that to say…when he eventually left and I was left standing there scratching my head wondering am I dreaming, and I went home, I was lying in bed so grateful and delighted with my encounter- and then it dawned on me- SHIT!!!!!! I never picked up/ kept Billys cigar Stubbs 😬😬😬😬😬
I think the stonefish is considered the most painful sting because people have died from the pain.

The underwater talking 😂😂😂
🇬🇧 I remember when id first arrived in Australia with my parents when i was about 12yrs We lived right on the beach area of a place called Dolls Point in Botany Bay, NSW. One early evening my parents were walking along the cooler beach for some air & i was jumping about, running in & out of the surf etc. When i spied a beach ball, sandy coloured lying amongst the beached seaweed & shells so i ran full pelt up to this " ball " & kicked it as hard as i could. Now, it took a moment to register the sting like someone sticking a darning needle in my big toe. But, undaunted i went to look at this "ball" id kicked. As the second before my toes hit it i noticed these spikes, all over its surface. Up the beach i found it. Unbeknownst to me it was a dead Puffer fish that had swollen into this beach ball size. My parents & i looked at it & while my toe hurt & was bleeding It wasnt bad. Later at home, my toe did swell up but not excessively so. My mum cleaned it & put on her own family recipe Cure All salve & a bandage. Just one day off school because i couldnt get my shoe on. Then the day after when i got in from school my mum was panicking as some neighbour had told her the Puffer Fish - dead & swollen is very toxic or poisonous & she wanted me to go to the doctors. However i was fine, toe still abit tender & i thought this Puffer fish info was wrong But many years later i found out it was right! Yet despite kicking this thing with bare feet.. i wasnt affected Maybe it was drained of toxins or dead too long Buggered if i know, but i was fine & not huge pain yet my in my toe Was a hole that bled alot so the spikes did prick me! Odd. Peace 🇬🇧👧

I love how the pain was so excruciatingly intense that the simpleton who could only mutter gibberish suddenly could let out an extremely coherrent "FUUUUUUCKKKK!!!!!!!!!" and a crystal clear "WHAT THE FUCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!". LMFAO!!!
omg that was so funny 😂

Give us the Blueringed Octopus ... Please 🌸:)
I know pain. If that's worse... wow.
how do they compare different levels of pain? to my mind if you're cogent and can describe it, *you ain't seen nothing yet* unfortunately i suffered a 7mm (quarter inch) kidney stone several years ago, and i was writhing in pain so all consuming i was no longer cogent! i was apparently conscious but i do not remember the ambulance arriving, being put on the gurney, being whisked into the ambulance nor being driven around - until i was given a shot of morphine, then the paramedic said "oh, there you are" as i was again cogent for a good 3 seconds! don't remember the rest of the trip, don't remember being admitted, don't remember being wheeled into the ICU, but then they gave me another shot of some such and again i was cogent wondering how the flock i got here - then they took me into surgery where i was 'put under' by artificial means they stuck a stent in my ureter and left me to suffer 9 out of 10 pain for 10 days before they removed the monster stone - and during that 10 days, every time i had to pee? i felt like someone was stabbing a hot dagger into my liver pain? please, give me a stone fish
as steping on one similar thing on holiday in TURKEY,i know whats like to be that sipleton gone though..even worse..
He is so funny
