A refreshing change to see a driver well and truly in control of his car, he has clearly had that set up to his style and needs and it shows, I imagine he was at 7/10ths right there and if he was alone in that car with some more observant track users that would have been a stunner of a lap. Just shows how quick those things can be made to go with a bit of money and knowledge

@@deadslow201 I guess the suspension was a bit stiff through some of the corners, the bounce was a bit harsh and can be unsettling if came as a surprise to the driver.

@@JLneonhug To my eyes it seemed that driver was on hes comfort zone the whole time, and he knew what hes car is and what it does, so car did not surprise him, stiff or not.

@@JLneonhug And also, if you watch the video and keep watching only the top left corner/ driver/ drivers hands, you see zero understeering or oversteering corrections, so car was not unsetteled in any corner during the lap.

What a chassis. It's the one thing you can't really change, yet it outperforms many of it's younger competitors.

Man such an amazing car. The right noises, the grip, the power delivery, the sensation of speed and stability are incredible.

It's always a special feeling to see the speedo getting pegged, even if it is as _conservative_ as this one 😄 Love how moody the dashcam looks in this weather, lower framerate helps sell the '90s feel.

Standard japanese, scale tops out at 180kmh. Just like the jdm gentlemens agreement powerlimit of officially 276hp (cough, on paper).

Pure joy, and you can feel the confidence through the screen when the driver maintains grip on the limit in the corners but makes it look easy and safe. Nice video!🎉

One of the best laps I’ve seen. And I’ve seen A LOT! the way that car rotates, and has just enough lag for it to turn and hook up before the boost comes, so satisfying to see. I’d love to have a go of one of these classics, I’m a race engineer and classic car enthusiast, I have a mk2 escort, but I appreciate the 90s turbo beasts!! Love it, great video, and good driving too 👍🏻

When you consider the age of this car you realise how epic they still are, amazing car and super smooth driving, would love to see Misha behind the wheel as well. A textbook example of how to drive on TF.

it really never ceases to amaze me with the corner speed and grip the R32 has got, especially tuned right. There were moments it was being pushed hard and it was totally on point

That RB26 sound , absolute music. One of the best 6 cylinders ever built . Feel like these cars will appreciate in value too much to be thrashed around a track .

Holy moly that’s a fast car! You can see he’s just cruising as well even though he’s carrying a lot of speed!! Enjoyable laps.

That was such a cool run . It looked like it was glued to the track an the speed from 100 to 180+ was instant...just awesome thanks for showing us that.

Strong and mature driving with a legendary car. Thank you for sharing, owner. Misha's facial expressions during this was classic.

For a car that started production in 1989 albeit with some modifications it sailed round that track with ease, grace and some serious pace. So far ahead of its time its still competitive today. Great car well driven! Awesome video Misha alway great to see JDM cars on the ring.

The car is so well tuned and the power delivery is so linear. Setup are awesome too and driving it is like a charm. Very nice video thanks!

Love the sound... not simply chubby loud, but just powerfull and hearing the powertrain and all the differentials work to retain grip and deliver the engine's power is bonkers.

Holy hell. That thing is a menace! How many horses does it have!? The boost is immense, it just pulls and pulls and leaves everything else in the dust. That wast gate noise is such a nice sound too. LOVE IT!

What a machine! That acceleration is amazing! Misha's face is priceless when car gets max to limit!

What a nice, sleek and fast looking R32 and what an amazing power. Pure joy to see it driven and must be even more joy to drive it on a sunny day with a clear track 🙂

It is funny i come back to this video again and again. The sound, the awesome power delivery, the smoothness... just the whole package is so much fun watching.

12:55 it hugs so much... at that speed I was expecting the car to wash out, go everywhere but it stayed in with such ease

wen the skyline r32 gt-r was competing in the australian v8 supercars series n also the bathurst 1000 they where nicknamed, godzilla. the car had twin turbos all wheel drive n a shit ton of hp n torque. they where unstoppable so the the rules where changed so they couldnt compete any more. awesome car. such a great lap n it was cool.

Yes, no one could beat their atessa system, i think thats what it was called. the reason australian V8 supercars is holden etc only is because they wanted to get rid of godzilla winning it all 🤣

they had a clear advantage but were only slightly quicker than the Sierras. awd but even Skaifey was dumb enough to put it in the wall and still get handed a win lol.

Smooth driver, didnt rev more than he needed to, seemed like he was on a Sunday drive but the car was going through the corners so fast, respect!

That lap was a pleasure to watch. Really good driving 👌🏻

Woww! Cool oldschool machine, pushes like a locomotive. Nice ride, flowed smoothly and easily around the track. Misha's face said a lot.:) I would have cried like a puppy for sure:D

That has to be one of the smoothest, well driven laps I've seen in a long time. Aside from the bonnet rattle (I think?) that car is flawless. Well done!

Awesome lap! Love the R32, it's my dream car. Especially thank you for having the torque split thing in focus! Not a lot of good footage of it. Also great to see how it sends torque to the front when on boost. (afaik the R32 is RWD and can distribute up to 50% torque to the front when the rear wheels have slip)

you can tell why these R32's dominated Bathurst... so great watching & hearing it hit the Nordschleife

That drive was really nice to watch. Totally in control and still fast. And the car is a dream machine.

@@miner4236 It'll still be pretty much to scale if the rolling diameter of the tyres is close to stock, it just runs out of numbers so you have to use your eyechrometer after 180 😉
