I have a manual V10 E46 M3 in the UK....when I go to the Nurburgring later in the summer this year, I will give Misha a shout and see if he wants to try a 6 speed one! :)

Yea that SMG trans is TERRIBLE!!! My dad bought one from Carmax and 2 days later the trans went bad. Luckily he was able to get his money back! He had 2 E39 M5's too around 2010. I want one for myself one day, as it was such a great car to drive and ride in!

no because the E60 is not a race car it's a luxury family cruiser. it's not suppose to be extra sporty it's suppose to be a sportier version of a luxury car. the point of it is to do fast AF miles on the autobahn in luxury

Absolutely amazing! The guy has put so much effort and possibly time into this build. People are scared to keep and maintain a regular V10 M5/M6. Yet this guy put in the effort to mate best BMW engine, with best BMW transmission, in one of the absolutely good looking BMW’s. This car is a great built.

Amazing. And that sound... almost F1 like. Great build!

I have watched this video over 72 times since it’s been uploaded and every time it put a smile and chills on me.This definitely need to return on a channel for another lap!

Goddam that thing looked fast as heck. The confidence Misha had to throw it at kerbs suggests the set up is spot on and it looked like a monster on the brakes as well. I remember another channel manual-swapped an M5 V10 and they used an E93 gearbox and they talked about how much faster the car was simply because the V10 wasn't being geared so long compared to the original one, so it could rev SO much faster, a massive improvement given that engine doesn't have the most torque ever. What a car. Basically the dream M-Car.

This car actually goes faster than ordinary 500hp car due to gearing, it was measured by the owner 100-200 kmh in 6.4/6.5 sec, so it’s really fast, 1 second faster than a 510hp 992 gt3 for example

This car is insane. It's almost impossible to make Misha get thrilled because of so many fantastic cars he has driven, he's always cool like a cucumber, but in this one he looked like a child getting the most out of his toy. This felt like driving a maxed out X class car in FH5.

The sound 😍 you just can’t beat those V10 notes ❤

I drive an '06 E60 M5, and it's such a joy to see this video . The S85 engine is designed to perform exactly as it's driven here, beautiful footage , thank you!!

I keep coming back to this video and still enjoy it every time. The way this car accelerates to and beyond 200 km/h with the soudtrack and blink fast shifts feels like a sport bike

Can’t tell who was having the time of their lives. Misha who was driving one of the coolest e46 or the Suzuki swift sport driver that was hearing that great v10 in front of him (or her)🔥

I’ve a golf r which is my daily driver but when I fancy a rip the swift comes out everytime. Never fails to put a smile on my face. I mean of course the golf would leave it miles behind in a straight line but in the corners, unreal the wee swifts are. Even standard but a few handling mods and correct geo setup just transforms them

Just imagine what people would've heard when they got passed by. This thing is WILD!

I’ve seen It was measured like 6.5 sec 100-200kmh on draggy so it’s a full second faster than a 992 gt3, so yeah, it pulls:))

Wow, that thing just chews into the horizon. Misha wasn’t afraid to get stuck right into it either and that instant break of traction as the revs were initially piled on was epic. This is maybe the 3rd or 4th S85 converted E46 M3 I’ve seen and they all perform super-impressively. Edit : Aside from the obvious power discrepancy, the yellow Suzuki Swift tenaciously trailed Misha for half the lap.

This drivetrain and chassis combination is by far the PERFECT one every bimmer fan could ever dreamed of😍.One of my favorites laps ever watched on your channel Misha that build was really crazy🤯

Incredible build! This is way beyond the many tuner cars with incredible horsepower and a big turbo, failing half into a lap and still it does the Nordschleife as if the engine was meant to be put in the car. Definitely shows how well-engineered these M3s were, the 343 HP weren't really maxing out the chassis... Too bad that there was so much traffic, it would have hit 260 or even more on the straights. Just a lovely sleeper.

This is got to be the best build futured on the channel ! Pure joy

What I loved about the S85 was the top end surge, it was prerry much steady acceleration and then you used to get a top end whoosh of power, what an engine

Lovely build and by far the best looking M3 . The E46 has aged very very well . I kinda expected the bearings to fail due to their issues but the guy did the correct thing dry sumping the car . What an amazing sound too . I have a rather special E36 GTR I’m building and hope for Misha to take it round the track next year if he’s up for it 👍🇬🇧

Ok so I've watched so many of these vids and this is the first time I've seen M be actually giddish of excitement not having patience with traffic and pretty much ushering it out of the way by shouting at it with pure blissfull V10 noises! Also fun to watch his face go from excited and proud owner to full OBD scanner mode using his senses to scan the car while FLYING though the lap 😄 We all must see this car go through here again.
